Yes, IMO it's quite likely that they will fight AJ one-by-one.

In fact Matchroom/AJ and Duco/Parker already had a deal in place for November last year, with both sides speaking positively of the other side's reasonable in negotiating the fight. So I reckon that if Wilder/Parker is not made for August/September, we will likely see Parker/AJ first.

    Thats unreasonable.

You can't put together a unifaction fight on a weeks notice. There's dozens of factors that need to be ironed out first.

Hopefully Parker finds an opponent for 6 May, wins & then negotiates a unification fight with Wilder in the US next up.

That course of action has to be preferable to having anything further to do with the Fury's.

Two weeks isn't enough time to promote a bout like that. O have no problem with Parker fighting a scrub on the 6th. It's what happens after that matters.

If this fight happens anytime between now and September, I'll be thrilled and credit both parties. I just really doubt that it will happen

Yeah, that's how I see it likely to happen as well. Parker's the much more reasonable and ambitious party, so he'd fight AJ asap. Wilder would likely draw it out as much as possible. Looks like he won't have a dangerous mandatory for the foreseeable future, so he'll have leverage to take his time and bleed better terms out of AJ (though not nearly as much leverage as he'd have if he had two belts)

It's too bad, it would be so much better tournament style.

Well, early July or earlier is also unreasonable due to the fact that Joe has been in training camp for the last 3 months, building towards May 6th. Can't expect him to extend it for another two months - a 5 month training camp, and you don't want to take time off with a major fight in only 2 months.

Wilder has been talking about a September fight with Chisora. Why not Parker instead?

July? Why so long? No reason to wait until July.

Fury wont be in the ring so that training camp is already lost. Facing a bin man won't get it back.
Take a time out , then enter camp for a Wilder show down.

Why is Wilder trying to negotiate this fight when he has a Mandatory due? Why didn't he try and make a fight like this during one of his 5 optional fights?

He doesn't ever want to face a mandatory.

Don't know . Its irrelevant anyhow. Look to the future , don't dwell on the past

I mean the guy had 5 chances without politics involved to make a fight like this and fought bums like Molina and Spilzka. What gives Dino?

You sound like you want Wilder to fight an inactive Parker.

What's wrong with fighting an active version of him?

Okay, now I can understand that. What I think would play a worse role is the mental part of the preparation. He needs that release. Thank you.
