DEONTAY WILDER CALLS OUT JOSEPH PARKER FOR JULY UNIFICATION

Even if he was fighting Wilder in July it'd probably be better to fight May 6. He's unlikely to take much damage against Cojanu

 

I think he means hes inviting him to a mighty fine southern shindig, unlikely wildman is getting into the ring with a live opponent again.

 

Wilder is just jealous that others in the division are getting attention.

He will try spinning this like Parker has ducked him. When we know Parker has already got a better record than wilder. How can wilder talk about getting serious about fighting when his whole record is a joke.

 

I'm not even a Wilder fan but seriously, you guys.
He gets **** for not calling anyone out then gets
**** for calling someone out. You can't have it both
ways.

 

This is great news. I'm starting to see a pattern developing in several of the divisions where the top guys are actually fighting each other now and attempting to unify the division. It's taking place in the HW division, LHW (Kovalev-Ward,) SMW (Jack-Degale,) MW (Gennady's quest for all the belts,) WW (all the champions outside of Pacman are trying to unify.)

This is wonderful to see and will help decrease the amount of confusion casual fans have when trying to figure out who the real champions are.

 

You can if he never fights anyone.

Once or if he fights a top 5 hw like Parker, he'll get more slack

 

I'm not hitting Wilder for calling people out, calling out is a positive sign but it's too early to give credit.

The proof is in the pudding, call-outs or a lack thereof don't really mean anything unless the fights are made or avoided or whatever.

 

Then damn near every top HW needs to get painted with that brush
because none of them are fighting each other. I hate defending
Wilder (seriously), but I'm fair with criticism across the board.

Wilder was set to fight Povetkin, it fell through
Hughie and Parker were set to fight, it fell through
Anthony hasn't fought a top 10 guy yet nor has
Parker. Luis Ortiz only has one top 10 guy under his
belt in Jennings. All should rightly be criticized.

 

I think Takam and Ruiz are top 10 for different organisations. Breazeale and Whyte is as well for Joshua. Stiverne for Wilder who is the most experienced pro of the three champions only has one.

Just sift through the repetitive **** posters and then you'll be ok with other fans talking about the hvw's.

 

Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Some people just want to hate Wilder. Thats all there is to it.

You don't call people in front of the whole world if you have no intention of facing that person. If Parker made that video you can be sure attitudes would be totally different.

As it is right now Wilder wants the fight. Parker is holding the ball. Is he going to lose the ball is the question.

The difference is Wilder has been doing it for 6 defenses now. If AJ was fighting another scrub next, he'd be starting to get Wilder level criticism, but he's fighting the best. I'm no Wilder hater, at the moment he's actually got the best resume of the belt holders, and I don't rule out him being the best of them. But 6 defenses without a clear top 10 hw is too much. Time to step up.

 

Six defenses? He's not a champion. Stop calling him a champion!!!
