On today's episode of Sky podcast Eddie Hearn confirmed Deontay Wilder is all talk. Not only has Wilder priced himself out of the AJ fight by wanting 50% and not willing to budge on that percentage.. but Wilder has been going around doing multiple interviews saying he'll only fight Whyte if AJ is on the contact to fight next and he's been claiming that Hearn is protecting AJ by keeping him off the contract and away from Wilder.

Well Eddie Hearn confirmed today that he called Wilder's bluff and offered Wilder a career highest 4mil to fight Whyte and said he is also willing to put AJ on the contract so the winner fights AJ in a unification later in 2018!

But Wilder and his team want nothing to do with Whyte and have refused the offer and they will most likely fight Breazeale next!

Hearn said they plan to fight Parker next and go into negotiations with Wilder holding 4 belts which will force Wilder to be more reasonable with regards to his percentage.

today with the advent of social media and facts and figures all in public it makes negotiating a deal into long affairs.

it makes it very hard for top fighters to have the 4 defenses a year which should be the norm instead of this 2 times a year ****.

It’s obvious to everyone that Wilder is intentionally pricing himself out, then running his mouth claiming that Hearn is @making excuses/ducking” him.

    Very transparent. What a clown

I could be accused of being an Eddie Hearn fanboy at times but I’m not sure AJ being on a contract would be true. You only need to see the reaction of Anthony Joshua when the very idea of him being apart of any Dillian Whyte deal was mentioned to him by Kugan in the IFL interview.

Can’t see him signing off on anything like that

It's pretty obvious that Wilder and his team don't really want the fight or at least not right now. Hearn has been negotiating with Parker and Wilder at the same time you compare both teams moves to secure the fight, it's clear Parker's team are making serious moves to secure a fight while Wilder's team have done nothing but have one meeting and just posture.

Even if you don't believe Hearn's words. Finkel himself said they were offered the Joshua fight if they fought Whyte first, which Hearn disputed saying they were separate deals. But then Finkel said they didn't want the fight later they wanted it now so the offer of Whyte with Joshua as a guarantee wouldn't do as they wanted the fight now not later. But when Hearn made it clear Whyte wouldn't secure Joshua, suddenly Finkel wants the deal he already rejected.

So what happened to Finkel's demand of the fight being next? When Finkel thought he needed to fight Whyte first it was "No Joshua/Wilder now" then when the offer to fight Joshua after Whyte wasn't on the table as he believed he suddenly wanted the very deal he refused before, WTF! Make up your mind Finkel, lmao.

I fully expect Finkel to now revert back to his former stance of wanting the fight now instead of later lol.

Wilder realizes when Joshua picks up Parkers belt his request for 50% will be shot down even more. A fight with dangerous Whyte doesn't help him at all now in trying to finagle more money and risk losing.

If the WBC could elevate Fujimoto in a top 10 spot and get a Wilder title fight against him it would keep Wilder in his lane running over opponents and then meet Joshua at the intersection. :car::cop1::flaming:

“I have an email of the text and I can find it where Eddie said, ‘Shelly can I talk to you, I can’t get anyone else. Dillian Whyte, we would like to make the fight and if you win you’ll have Joshua next,’” Finkel said.

    http://www.givemesport.com/1188827-...ay-wilders-manager-about-anthony-joshua-fight

Finkel clearly says he believed this deal was already offered, why would he demand something later on that was already offered and rejected by himself? Answer he needed an excuse to not take the fight, saying he wouldn't accept such an offer and wanting Joshua now. But when Hearn actually said this wasn't offered as Finkel believed, suddenly Finkel wants this deal he already said no to.

I'm sure they do want the fight, but just like Hearn ,Finkel and Wilder don't want the fight til later, hence their lack of progress in negotiations neither side wants it, it's all just PR. Wilder pretends he wants the fight now, saying Joshua is ducking to build his profile. Hearn pretends he is semi serious about negotiating a fight now to look like they want the fight now, both sides are bullshitting.
