I surely don't condone the path Wilder is headed in but I also can't really support the constant attacks on his career as if he's in total control of his destiny. I'm not completely sure why you have such a hard-on (erection) for Wilder everytime he takes a **** your somewhere posting how soft and limp his turd is and why it hasnt dropped to the bottom of the bowl yet.

Again this is a **** fight but I think we should wait and see what happens when he steps in the ring with a real top 10 guy before we pass on a life sentence of ridicule from keyboard warriors.

Malik Scott would absolutely school and annihilate this can. Wilder is the black Tye Fields.
There's only one African-American who has the skills to beat the Klits, and it ain't Wilder.

Wilder MUST be hiding a glass jaw. Why else does he face tripe over and over again?
His team go out of their way to find the worst opponents imaginable. They won't even put him in with a credible journeyman like Zack Page or Kendrick Releford.

Why? Because they know their man's 0 will go.

34-0 Malik Scott is the next great American HW. Get behind him people, and stop paying attention to this glass-jawed fraud.

I can't believe you are actually trying to defend this. Of course everyone fights a few journeymen, but no one good ever fights ALL journeymen.

Wilder does not need stay busy fights against 40 year old fat Super-middleweights who have fought once in the last 5 years. Seriously, that is utter ****. I can't quite remember the last time that I was this dissappointed in the selection of opponent.

I can't believe that you mention Releford and Aguilera and brush them off as if they are as bad as the fighter he is being put in with. At least they are both active, actual heavyweights that have some real experience against actual serious boxers. Wilder is going to learn NOTHING from this fight, in fact it is more likely that this will be detrimental to his development. He is PAST this stage, and in very real danger of going in reverse. If he doesn't start stepping it up, there is a big risk that he will suddenly find himself way out of his depth if he lands a decent fight.

You destroy what remains of your credibility by criticising Martin Rogan. He's actually better than anyone that Wilder has faced and would have given him a very good fight.

Yeah let's be serious here, Fury's competition is perfectly fine for a guy in his early twenties fighting his first twenty bouts or so. Lots of regional title fights, wins over fellow prospects and veteran domestic types, stuff like that. If Wilder were fighting this level of competition and winning he'd be getting hyped to infinity.

But this **** where he's gonna run across the ring and punch out some 5'11" ex-middleweight? What the hell is Wilder supposed to learn from that? A Fury opponent who's in contention for a UK domestic belt may not be a world-beater, but they at least want that domestic belt. They have aspirations. These guys Wilder fights are just punching bags who know they're there to lay down.

Hard to hate on a guy this green for taking a paycheck and staying active, but my patience is getting thin. Either the end of 2012 or the beginning of 2013 needs to feature a step up fight.

it would help wilder if he at least fought shitty heavyweights, but these former super middleweights and light heavyweights who are just really fat do nothing for him....

Was just thinking about that. Even though I believe Wlider will go onto way better things then Fields. But just looking at their opponents and over hyped records and KO%, feels to similar at this point.

LOL just read the guy is 39yrs old, and only has 14 fights, WTF

They are doing this kid an injustice he is going to get smoked when he finally steps up and fights someone these types of fights activity or not are not going to prepare him for a title fight.

I am sick of the excuses the guy has been a pro over 4 years now and is still fighting this type of fight? :rofl:patsch At this rate he is going to get passed by the fighters that are turning Pro from the 2012 games. :patsch

I cannot say I know the domestic US heavyweight scene inside out, but I've seen guys like Zach Page, Tor Hamer, Tye Fields. Any of these three and I would give a nod of the head to Wilder for stepping up slightly.
