Wlad has nothing to do with the topic. Anyway: at Wilders age he fought such guys like Chris Byrd, Derrick Jefferson, Francois Botha, Ray Mercer, Charles Shufford. More excuses?

Wilder started boxing when he was 20 years old.

He won a bronze in 1 year after boxing.

Wlad won the gold medal, had a stellar amateur career, and then got the **** beat outta him by Ross Purrity after beating up a bunch of padded Eurobums.

Later, Wlad with 40 fights and 7 title defenses, got the **** beat outta him by Sanders, the second knockdown, falling without getting hit and crawling around on the ground.

    More excuses?

Your obsession with Wladimir Klitschko is quite disturbing on so many levels, I can honestly picture you sitting in a room watching Wlad vs Sanders on a loop 24hrs a day. I would highly recommend you seek professional help for the sheer hatred you hold for a man you have never even met before.

Zak, I wouldn't be shocked if Wilder doesn't even make it to 25-0 or 30-0 and one of his handpicked opponents later doesn't follow the script and brutally KO's him. His Chin looks awful.

But Wilder started boxing much later than Helenius

Let guy get some experience and training under him. He is staying active and obviously has lots of natural tallent

Do you not see the difference between Purrity and the guy that Wilder is fighting, or are you that damn stupid?

No-one is saying that Wilder should be fighting world-beaters now, but someone that's durable and might take him a few rounds will be far more useful.

OMG! Just saw what Deontay Wilder weighed in at: only 216.5 lb (98.2 kg)!

Would it not be better for him to go down to Cruiserweight?

Maybe Deontay Wilder will turnout to be another Michael Grant. Though he doesn't seem to have the power of Grant.

A 6'7 cruiserweight? I don't think so. Wilder is just getting down to a more nimble weight.

On the other hand Wilder did fight at 201 as an amateur. If Enzo can try for light heavy with a 6'4 frame I suppose Wilder could go for cruiser with a 6'7 frame....but fo sho there would be some drainage involved there.
