Wilder has fired his head trainer and hired a new trainer, he looks good on the pads, has he made the right decision?

    Right decision but too late.

He should have done this a year and a half ago he'd be much further along the process

Deontay is such a improved fighter now, Fury's reign will be short. Well done bomb squad.

The winner of Fury v AJ will have to fight a mandatory v the winner of Joyce v Usyk according to WBO rules, Wilder is 35 and running out of time.

Breland doesn`t know anything about boxing, his reach, speed and power are what got him his world title before Starling exposed his lack of fundamentals, all he had was athleticism, being a world champ will not make you a good trainer.

How do you know he's "such an improved fighter now"?

His last fight he was humiliated, and as far as I'm aware he's not fought in public since.

That means you are basing your assessment entirely on the footage that was released.

As for Fury, why would he, Tyson Fury, bother?

    He's schooled Wilder twice.

Once, by comprehensively outboxing him (despite all the issues he had in the proceeding years), and second, by smashing the granny out of him in a career defining demolition job.

Age, arrogance, and sheer inability, suggest Wilder cannot improve.

If he had the capacity to change for the better he'd have done it loooooong ago.

He was WBC champion for years, and could have worked relentlessly in the gym to fix his technical flaws and instead he arrogantly assumed that his right hand would always prevail no matter the situation...and against the bums he faced for the majority of his career, that was true.

However, the first time he faced anyone of genuine world level ability he was found out.

Granted, that right hand almost did change the game...but almost is not enough at that level.

    Wilder should seriously consider retirement.

He's irrelevant now, and can only diminish any legacy he may still have.

Breland once stated that Fury had no boxing ability!

What did he know? How to throw a fast 1-2? He didn`t do that much in the ring, he wasn`t creative enough to beat Starling, all he had was hand speed and power, he didn`t do the things Canelo does in the ring and got hit too much v Starling.
