DM was the lineal champion tho, with 14 defenses of the title.

    Good point
Michalczewski and Ottke have really good resumes, John beat Marquez which seems almost forgotten, and with Rosi, you aren't wrong, but you will find on these forums that if they are before someone's time, they tend to dismiss unless it is a massive historical name

Many see the Ring as the lineal title and that was given to RJJ.

The title got passed to RJJ at some point because the disparity in their level of opponents was so extreme. 5 of the first 6, 7 of the first 10 and 8 of the first 12 DM defenses weren't on the level of RJJ's.

RJJ also stopped Virgil Hill so theres good old 1920s logic you can dust off. Once upon a time the title changing hands via decision was controversial. LHW does have champions who defended their titles in losses.

DM will get in though and deserves to get in. Its just going to take time.

Wilder is getting in eventually, there's no doubt about that.
