What more does he have to do to get A(duck)J to fight him??

50 million large in a suit case and a verbal shout out via Instagram is the current version of a water tight contract in Alabama..

No chance Wilder is next, Povetkin mandatory has to be agreed in 5-6 days and currently they can't even get Wilder's team to even have a meeting with them.

Wonder if Team Povetkin will attend meetings to arrange the Joshua fight......

Or would meeting 'not be productive'?

I wonder if Finkel realizes how “Jr. high school mentality” he has looked through all this

One of the biggest fiascos I’ve seen from a supposed professional businessman on this level

Is anyone else starting to lose interest in this fight? I so, so want to see it but the evidence from Wilder's side is that they don't want it. Aggressive posturing = attack is the best form of defence. It's all so vacuous. I now feel more excited at the thought of Povetkin - AJ, because both of those fighters will relish the prospect. I've been getting so excited at the way the heavyweight division has been shaping up recently, but it feels like it's starting to unravel. Ortiz was beaten by Wilder. Parker was beaten boringly by Joshua. Povetkin will probably lose to Joshua. Wilder will KO8 Brezeale/Breazele/Breazeale/whatever. We simply don't know how good Fury will be in his comeback fights. If he looks good, Wilder will want none of him.

Joshua is the future of the heavyweight division, because at the moment all roads lead to him. But now he's starting to look like he's trying to channel the spirit of Klitschko. Annoyingly, in terms of his success in the ring this can only help him cement his status as top dog. He's big enough to refuse to engage like he used to, and hits hard enough to discourage opponents from going all "hail Mary" when they're down on the cards late on.

I actually think a Dillian Whyte bout could be great for Joshua, for Whyte, and for boxing right now. They can probably both get in each other's heads enough to make them want to fight, which would make us remember why we enjoyed watching AJ in the first place. Assuming he doesn't lose too heavily, Whyte becomes another name in the top-tier mix. This opens up a host of other potential bouts. Anyone else love the thought of Whyte-Parker, for instance?

Meanwhile, unless he starts taking his business seriously, Wilder maintains his unbeaten record with a rematch against Molina and a KO of David Price. In four years he retires with a 47-0 record, and we all say "oh yeah lol I remember Wilder".

Povetkin will be a much tougher challenge for Joshua anyway

I see Wilder as being taken out mid rounds by Joshua

Povetkin, on the other hand, will be all Joshua can handle.

To hell with Wilder. The guy is becoming a clown who everyone with adult reasoning laughs at, after this jr high school level fiasco

    Bring on Povetkin

Povetkin would knock Wilder out and Wilder knows it. Povetkin was framed, then VADA cleared him, but Haymon's WBC cancelled the fight because that's what Haymon wanted, Povetkin was also found innocent in court as well. Wilder should be forced to fight Povetkin now! Povetkin was declared not guilty, and it was found that he did not take meldonium after its official prohibition that started January 1, 2016. Povetkin could give Joshua problems, he has the power to hurt him, is smaller, but he is used to that. Povetkin is a better fight than Wilder would be, Joshua would easily knock Wilder out! Let Wilder fight for the pigs in Alabama, where the men are men and the sheep are nervous!

I lost all business respect for Finkel when he blew billions of Sillerman and co's money on the EDM craze without understanding his marketplace. The guy's a buffoon. I've seen it first hand.

Povetkint admitted to using PED's, Weather he used them before they were banned or after is irrelevant he admitted to using PEDS to enhance his performances this is a fact. Meldonium was only recently banned because little was really known about it out side of the soviet union which is region it was developed and prominently distributed, It was basically a Ped used in that region they kept to themselves. Former world number one Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova tested HOT after it was banned and admitted to taking it for 10 YEARS!

More than 170 failed tests by athletes were identified in a relatively brief period after the ban on meldonium was imposed on January 1, 2016, almost all of which were from Eastern European countries.

Povektin also has not looked the same since hes been "clean" either, These Eastern European's have been using this drug for year's, It makes povetkins entire career questionable.

Americans have integrated in their system the same drugs(same effect), but they are not banned. The whole thing was to punish russians to go to training in USA, they even don't hide it, telling officially "if you are training in USA, all is ok".So, it makes the whole career of americans questionable. :) Don't be naive and think with your head.2/3 of directors in WADA are anglosaxons. The end.
