Spot on. Wilder is so obviously playing a role and it's a long way from his natural self. I'm almost cetrtain it's a persona that's been crafted for him, perhaps by Al Haymon or others in his team. They looked at how Tyson was able to drive those massive numbers and they've tried to turn their guy into something he's patently not.

A couple of years ago you could see flashes of the real wilder and he's actually smarter and a lot more likeable than the clown persona. Pity they don't think that version sells tickets.

 

I genuinely don't think you could pick two more different characters if you tried.

Hagler the highly professional, mentally strong, superb boxer.

Wilder - well the opposite of the above.

 

Dont like to see people banned but this thread alone makes it deserving...Hagler came up the hard way & had no easy route , whereas wilder Jeezzz ...
