If the WBC title wasn't on the line when Deontay Wilder defeated Stiverne, the same clowns bashing Wilder to this day would be listing him with all-time Hall of Fame fighters like Harry Wills, Joe Jeanette, Sam McVea as a great heavyweight who never won a title.

IMO, 99.9 percent of the hate comes from British fans who wanted Anthony Joshua to be seen as the world champ during his heyday ... and Wilder stood in his way.

Because Wilder was great for the sport, great for the division, despite being outweighed by practically everyone he fought, and he is still delivering exciting fights with loads of knockdowns even in his 40s.

And people still can't quit talking about him. And his haters are still trying to convince people we didn't see what we actually saw.

Out of these 13 WBC heavyweight title fights only 6 were against Top 10 competition which in reality were 3 Top 10 fighters in total. He lost 2 of them and drawed once in the fight he should have lost.

Wlad is the biggest win of Fury's career. Joyce is the best win of Zhang's career. In Parker's case, we can say it's Wilder, but it may be Ruiz or Zhang.

The problem is Wilder was never great, so he wouldn't be mentioned with the guys you listed. If he didn't hold the title, his stock wouldn't even be higher than Chisora's. He would be another Eddie Chambers. Parker and Dubois have better bodies of work than Wilder has in this era alone.

Wilder was a protected ducker who never beat anybody of substance and was the biggest excuse maker in the history of the sport. That's why he's disliked. Not because of AJ, lol. It was always Wilder who was jealous of AJ's achievements, fame, money and his position in the boxing game.

Nothing in that post is true. Nearly a dozen years after he won the WBC belt, and people are still trying to convince us what happened didn't happen.

And Fury's win over Wilder in their rematch is considered Tyson Fury at his absolute best.

Talking to flat earthers is hard sometimes, but people do try, lol. Everything I listed was facts btw.

Nope. 2015 version of Fury is considered him at his absolute best.

Again, nothing in this post is true. You're just giving your opinion.

Wilder is ranked among the top 10 all-time in number of consecutive heavyweight title defenses and top 10 all-time in longest single reign.

He's had 50 pro fights, and lost ONE decision. He's lost to three people in total, all top fighters who all outweighed him and yet Wilder is still considered their biggest win.

You'd be lauding his record of opponents if he never had a belt.

All but one fighter (Herndon) Wilder has faced in the last 11 years - 17 out of 18 fights - has been ranked. And that one fight (against Herndon) is the only time Wilder wasn't outweighed.

Deontay Wilder will be a first ballot Hall of Famer. And there's really nothing you can do about it.

    Nope. All facts.

Yeah, while having one belt and with most of his successful title defences (7 out of 10) being against non-ranked competition.

It's not. And Wilder's career record against Top 10 is 3-4-1 (2 KO). Not a good look, lol.

Vinnie Paz is in the HOF too and Michalczewski. It doesn't mean that much.

Not even close. I don't know how many times I can post the WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO rankings when Wilder fought all those guys ... and how many times you can purposely choose to ignore them ...

But ignoring them doesn't change what actually happened.

Everyone Wilder fought for the last 11 years (except Herndon) ... 17 out of 18 fights ... were all ranked. His last win (this year) was over the IBF #2 contender, for Christ's sake. And, before that, Helenius was the WBA #2 contender when Wilder knocked him out in one.

Unfortunately for Wilder, he had almost no confidence in any punch other than his straight right hand. This made him far more predictable when he stepped up against decent opposition. But, as bad as Wilder was, he did have a good straight right. And, his complete lack of intelligence helped him believe in that right hand more than most other fighters would have. His inability to know the difference between the fights that were fixes and/or set ups and real fights kept him believing he could always turn it around. At least he believed it until Fury beat it out of him. He really hasn't been great at pulling the trigger since those losses. If Fury had come into the third fight in better shape, it would have been another blowout like the second fight. But, expecting Fury to come in good shape these days is an exercise in futility.

Excuse me if I'm ignoring rankings who have guys like Frank Sanchez, Jarrell Miller or Lawrence Okolie as Top 3 HWs in the world, lol. That's why these rankings are useless. His wins over Chisora and Helenius were kinda impressive, looking at how shot he is, but these were still not consensus Top 10 guys in the world.

Anyone who says "The same people would say...." is someone I can't ever take serious.

What I saw was a big man with a belt who by all means SHOULD have been a big name in US boxing when he had a belt. Instead he fought the worst level of comp a so-called titlist could seek out.

Boxing org rankings have been scrutinized and ridiculed for decades now. The Ring Rankings have always been taken the most serious (Which is not to say those were perfect either). Shoot...you might as well just go with boxrec's rankings.
