You seem to think far more highly of Stiverne than his record would merit. Stiverne is, at best, a journeyman in most eras. He's better than the rest of the stiffs Wilder has fought, yes - but given how pathetic they are, that's not saying much.:deal

 

I think Szpilka might prove to be Wilder's best test to date.

I never hated Wilder, nor I ever referred him as "glass-jawed fraud" or anything like that. And I did give him credit for picking Szpilka for a voluntary defence, just he should've taken that fight instead of that Molina nonsense title defence.

Though I do believe his progress as a pro has been terrible for an olympic medalist, you can check out my post history I always said he'd have a fair chance against anyone in the division and him vs Povetkin would be a 50/50 match up.

In boxing the current and proven IMHO most under rated are DW, AJ & GGG.
Those are 3 of thw most under rayed fighters in boxing.. most on here believe your resume tells the whole story, where for me and knowledgeable fans know that has nothing to do with how great, good or bad a fighter is.

Beating bigger name fighters means nothing. They have ALL proven without a doubt they have the tools needed to be great. .

All have more than sturdy chins, all the offensive skills that are elite. These are 3 of the 5 true elite fighters in the sport.

The other 2 currently elite fighter's are canelo and Kovalev. Those are the 5 proven elite fighter's of this generation. Ward was elite and if he could somehow get back to a 100% ward he could join the elite club.

Esb's majority of poster's throw around greatness like it's normal, when it's abnormal. . Going off a resume to form opinions is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Might as well only look at wins and losses on boxrec, that's another stupid thing many on here form their opinions from.

So, we have the majority of esb fans forming their opinions from other clueless casuals, boxrec and resume. Someone on here always preaches "resumes don't fight" which is the single best angle anyone had taken.

Not a clue who I'm quoting but that's the best quote on here. At hw the only fight that matters to me and will actually tell me smg I don't know is DW vs AJ in 17/18. And the only fights that matter to me for GGG are canelo and really Kovalev.

It's hard for me with GGG and canelo, GGG should come out on top but that would be a very competitive and career altering fight. Once that's over with, (could see a rematch) the GGG and Kovalev going h2h will be crazy.

No resume what so ever for eroll Spense jr, but is is elite too.

So 6 proven elite level fighters right now. What a frigging generation we have.. could possibly add a couple more elite fighters to the list over the next couple years..
