Wilder's last 3 defenses WERE NOT against taxi drivers and bums... they were against top 15 fighters in the WBC rankings, and as champion of the WBC that is exactly who he should be fighting... add to that the fact that one of those 3, Duahapas just KTFO your euro darling Helenius who most of you that hate Wilder were tauting as the next Mike Tyson. And the other one of those 3, Molina just KTFO Adamek who was a top contender for a long time. The 3rd fighter, Szpilka would beat most top 10 guys in the division today, I see Szpilka KTFO Whyte, Haye and most other contenders..

The fight that makes the most sense for Wilder is Pulev. Bring on Pulev.

This is ridiculous, the WBC need to do their "investigation" quickly and determine what to do with Povetkin. Either clear him and reschedule the fight at the earliest possible time, or designate another mandatory challenger and enforce that on Wilder before giving any more voluntaries.

Watch, Wilder will fight some joke again. Then stall his mandatory, stall the purse bid, fake a injury, do whatever he can not to make a mandatory defense against a live body.

 

i would have to go back and look at the rankings pre wilder fighting them but

molina had recently been stopped in a round by arreola before he fought wilder so i am not sure how he would have automatically been in wbc top 15 without being parachuted in.

dulhaupus had just lost to teper in a euro fight so i think he was parachuted in.

spilzka had just been stopped by jennings so again not sure of his rankings

spilzka showed talent i had not seen previously and looks like a decent fighter when he can be bothered/ a definate hit and miss fighter.

it wont be pulev / unless mandatory / his style is not telegenic.

i expect a non puncher top 20 to 30 pick as has been haymons choice.
