They are thin but sometimes that doesn't mean they are less powerful than thicker legs.

This may seem crazy but I have a hunch that Wilder's waist is also slimmer than Nichols' waist.

I remember seeing a tale of the tape where it said he had 18 inch thighs which is ridiculous for anyone let alone his height. I thought Wlad had skinny legs with his 22 inch thighs but 18 inches is ridiculous. The thing is Wilder does squat, I've seen training videos of him squatting, not a lot of weight admittedly but still he's squatting, imagine how skinny they would be without squats!

In comparison Joshua has 27 inch thighs and 17 inch calves, his calves are almost as big as Wilder's thighs!

 

That's why BJS tried to feed him with some extra chicken.

But whatever you do Wilder, don't skip that leg day.
