I don't think Wilder would do too well. I can see an iron chinned dude like Old Man Foreman battering him to pieces with his jab. Wilder's not exactly hard to land on.
With his power, size and hand speed he could potentially defeat anyone including Lennox Lewis if he underestimated Wilder and came in over confident. Only 2 opponents I'm confident would beat him would be a prime Holyfield and Bowe. Tyson from the early 90's wins but 1996 is 50/50. I think he destroys Foreman, you don't stand in front of a guy like Wilder and let him tee off on you as Foreman would. Mercer and Ruddock close fights. He KO's Moorer and Wlad, Vitali would be another 50/50.
Duhaupas got teed off on by Wilder for 11 rounds before they stopped it. I think old Foreman is better and tougher than Duhaupas, not to mention that cross-armed defence was not so easy to get clean shots through.
Foreman would be hitting him back .... and walking him down and manhandling him ... and hitting him back some more.
I don't think that Wilder is a wrecking ball in the 90's. He wins some and loses some as well... What worries me is that Old Man Ortiz out boxed Wilder for stretches of the fight and got tired before Wilder has his large amounts of success... Even Moorer was quicker than Ortiz at heavyweight which could make for an interesting fight, I have yet to see Deontay fight any real good boxers besides Ortiz.. Bowe, Lewis possibly Golota beat him for sure... even Truth Williams and Tucker from the early 90's are better boxers same as Douglas... But I still like Deontay's strength and power... they are great
