Yeah, Dorticos still looks for me more interesting regards to top opponents close to his age in the ring. Yeah, he didn't won all fights. He had fought aboard and with ppl he had been given to fight with.
Yes, I see a problem with you throwing up an arbitrary age. You mean if Wilder had fought Povetkin and beat him in 2016, that wouldn't have counted because Povetkin wasn't UNDER 36? What the hell kind of sense does this make? You mean if Wilder would've fought Wlad in 2015, that wouldn't have counted because Wlad was 39? How many top 10 opponents under the age of 36 did Joshua defend against again? One? (Parker) Because Andy Ruiz wasn't in the Ring top 10 when Joshua lost to that late sub. And Pulev certainly isn't under 36. Wlad wasn't. Povetkin wasn't. Wilder's defenses are as good as Fury's, Joshua's, Wlad's, Vitali's. They certainly aren't "shockingly bad." Wilder defended against Fury twice. Who was the last champ to defend his belt against the #1 rated heavyweight in the world TWICE? Because Wilder did. For something to be "shockingly bad" ... someone else's would have to be "shockingly good." Whose list of defenses were so "shockingly good" they make Wilder's look "shockingly bad?" Where is this heavyweight champ who made 10 successful defenses against only #1 rated, absolute prime opponents who no one could ever say were overrated because they were all rated perfectly? It's all nonsense. Wilder was a fine champ. And may be one again soon. See a problem with that?
Its nice to see you finally coming to terms with this Just typing these words is half the battle won Good for you and you have plenty of sponsors here to help if you relapse
Wilder haters are ridiculous. Wilders right hand technique is out of this world. He has the sharpest right hand in the history of the sport combined with his absolut brutal athleticism he is really bringing the hw game to a absolut new level together with fury of course. Out of Aj, fury and him he showed the best chin til now, he got battered around the ring for 6 rounds by fury yet didnt quit, he got hit flush by ortiz 35 times in a row and didn't go down. Lets collect all the wilder hate arguments: -Ortiz was 55 when he fought wilder -Wilder dodged povetkin -Wilder was born with the ability to knock people out with his right hand, but somehow he wasnt known to be a ko artist in the amateurs - wilder cant box, even thought he somehow managed to win a medal, despite the fact he started boxing at 20/21 - wilder has a glass jaw even thought he took 2 absolut brutal beatings - wilder sucks cause he losed twice to the guy that dethroned the unbeaten end boss of the hw division and is probably the biggest hw champ after valuev. - wilder dodged Aj which makes perfect sense given the fact he faced fury 2 times. But somehow aj is the only one who could not get into the ring with the other 2, only a 41 year old klitschko yeah wilder really sucks and he can't box to safe his life, all it took was the best heavyweight of the last decade that is 6‘9, but has the movement of a cruiser or even light heavyweight and dethroned klitschko, those guys walk around at every amateur tournemant in britain.
His resume isnt the greatest, but the only current heavyweights who's cv cant be picked apart like this are Joshua and povetkin
Wilders resume is dreadful in comparison against AJ and Wlads. Wlad - even just picking these 3 wins alone over Haye, Povetkin amd Pulev shows how superior his resume is to Wilder AJ wins over Wlad, Povetkin,Parker, Ruiz, Whyte whom are all better and more proven Ortiz. Even AJs wins over Takam amd Martin is more impressive than nearly all of Wilders opponents. Only notable win for Wilder was Ortiz even thats pushing it because Ortiz himself onl has 1 notable win himself against Jennings 5 years ago. Whilst Wilder even admitted recently that he only fought Fury becuase he felt sorry for him and he didnt derseve a shot amd he turned more money to fight AJ(basically admitted he avoided AJ and that he puckes Fury as he looked soft touch looking overweight and poor against Pianetta amd Seferi - a cherry pick gone wrong)!. Wilder never showed ambition to even attempt to unify the divison turn down an offer from Wlad and half dozen offers from AJ.
None of those guys were were better than Fury, who Wilder dropped twice and defended his title against TWICE. They just weren't. And, sorry, a draw is a successful defense. It was when Lewis drew with Holyfied. It was when Byrd drew with Golota. When Rahman drew with Toney. When Jack Johnson drew with Jim Johnson. When Tommy Burns drew with O'Brien. And Lewis, Holyfield, Byrd, Rahman, Johnson and Burns didn't have their challenger on the floor twice in those "draws." Stomp your feet. Complain. Nothing will change that. He defended against Fury twice and Ortiz twice. He made four defenses against those two guys alone. Defending against Wlad, Parker, Povetkin and losing in a defense to Ruiz isn't better. It isn't. And Wilder didn't go down five times and quit once in those four defenses, like Joshua did. Wilder's defenses stack up just fine. They aren't MILES better. But they certainly aren't MILES worse. And if Wilder regains his title, he'll have to do it against the Ring World Champ Tyson Fury, not a freaking 300-pound Andy Ruiz. You guys won't even give him credit for exercising the return clause days after his first loss and going to an arbitrator to try to force that, when you were bashing him when you thought he didn't want a third fight (because you watched an Eddie Hearn video saying as much). Just admit you won't give him credit for anything.
You can look at the historical rankings and that's how they were man. The top 10 used to be a lot weaker in case you don't remember. I'm not on any wacky **** to be saying this. I'm just using actual indisputable facts that I didn't lay down out of personal opinion. Heavyweight has been quite weak in the last decade. So many average fighters have been top 10.
Homeotwn kid on A side. It still will matter not much because he is a hometown A side kid in US. Ruiz is better fighter than D.W balls lickers could imagine and D.W is not better than Hunter, this is just to small to debilitate your idol in distance. Old uncle and 2 laughable fights vs Fury is every real thing he gave us 2+ years. BORING. A.J might debititate Wilder like a pupp if he will land properly. Ruiz might do the same.
