Good Lord, Wilder needs a translator.
Is there an English version of this?

English is well down the teaching curriculum priority in Alabama. Top is banjo playing, 2nd is making moonshine. That's one reason that Wilder just talks gibberish. If he was educated elsewhere he might be a literary genius, who knows.

I really dont see how people can knock what Wilder is saying there.

    - Hes fighting Ortiz because Ortiz has been a highly avoided fighter, and Wilder has said hes the best, and if he says he is the best, than he wants to fight who other people think is the best, which has been Ortiz.

    - That he is skeptical that Ortiz will still be juicing but that he wants to fight him anyways, regardless if hes juicing or not.

Wilder has signed to fight one of the most avoided heavyweights, and instead of using Ortiz failing two separates tests as reasons to shut Ortiz out of the picture, he welcomes it and is meeting it head on.

He has signed to fight Povetkin, he is fighting Ortiz, and he is targeting AJ (although I admit hes being a bit delusional in his public offers but I would think matters would change behind closed doors)

So he signed to fight two of the most dangerous heavyweights, is on the verge of fighting its 'boogieman' and is gunning for the number one guy, while saying if you want to be the best you have to fight the best.

His resume is ****, I get that.... but damn if he doesnt get a completely irrational level of hate from the boxing community.

Kirk, I think the hate has more to do with his delusion rather than his lack of in-ring accomplishments. It is also made easier because of his poor grasp of English and tooth-pick legs.

I am sure that has a lot to do with it man. I know it makes him easy to dislike when he talks about the past greats the way he does, while accomplishing as little as he has.

I'm with @kirk . The man was given questions regarding Ortiz and AJ and answered them well (jokes aside on his English) He has signed to fight Povetkin and Ortiz, both known PED users, and still is fighting one of them who is avoided, regardless of age. Sure his resume is sub-par as a Champion but this fight, if he wins, will elevate it a bit. Everyone was yelling he hasn't fought anyone but as soon as he does fight an avoided fighter, folks find some negative thing to say about Ortiz's age, just to knock Wilder's choice. If it's not one thing, it's another.
Criticism is the quintessential act of negativity. Just enjoy the fight for what it is and drop the BS you think surrounds it.
Let's hope if Wilder wins, he can "smoke" AJ's promoters into terms if AJ gets past Parker.

Got to admire wilders honesty in this video.

‘I’m going to smoke him out verbally with my mouth’

At least he admits most of the times he’s talking out his ass.
