    That's pathetic competiton. My god.

And the guy he did fight Stiverne was an over the hill fat ass who barely who benefited from being in a very weak divison.

porter was the only top 10 opponent at ww brook ever fought....

no "next"....the comparison is spot on

he got worked by ggg...at 160...that fight was a farce and doesn't even register as anything real....that was about as real as Floyd/McGregor...but of course you need to mention it desperately to grasp at any straw you can to deflect the point....which was brook had one top 10 win and was 30 years old....and of course ggg dragged him up two weight classes for his "signature" win....

    LOL...the joke is on you

    NEXT!

Yo don't hate on Wilder. He's got the best in ring boogie dance in the heavyweight division.

Not only that but Stiverne was ill and severely dehydrated during the fight. Wilder needs to step up big time and soon.

Hell I don't like wilder either but at the end of the day if he ends up in the mix with Wlad,Ortiz.Parker and AJ then he'll be quickly forgiven.
One can't deny how when most said he'd do a Canelo and drop his WBC belt he instead chose to go over to Russia to face his mandatory in Povetkin, never liked his last opponent either but it wasn't his fault Povetkin at the time failed a drug test,no matter how small a sample it was he wasn't the architect of it.

He was all set to face Povetkin until he failed the test. Something the haters tend to overlook, or even idiotically contort into some kind of duck.

Wilder's team seemed relieved the Povetkin fight fell apart.

This may be true, a false negative if you will, but Wilder has yet to offer more than one true positive.

And hes 31. If I was HW champion and 31 with nothing on my resume, I'd get a move on and try and unify/add some weight to my CV as quickly as possible. No sign of that yet from him. Hes coasting. The mans a product of a clever marketing company, not a HW champ, you can see it in the salesman way he speaks. Hes the freaking Cheryl Cole of boxing, man.

You would have expected them to say "We hope to fight Povetkin asap, we want to make Deontay's career highest purse". But they were saying "Ok that fights done and we won't ever face him".

Tells me they're not driven by money, they just rather not fight Povetkin at all.

    Yup. Agree.

They are driven by money, though. And they know that if Povetkin knocks Wilder into the front row their meal ticket is gone ...

They figure its safer for Deontay to fight nondescript bums in Alabama and make $1.5 million per fight with little risk rather than face Povetkin in a very risky fight and make $5 million.
