Deontay Wilder is a brutal KO waiting to happen and will probably be the biggest case of Shattered Glass in the next 12 months.

The guy is being protected from punchers big time similar to Roy Jones avoiding big punchers for most of his career, and we all know what happened there.

It's obvious his team know about this and are protecting him from this type of opponent. Take a look at his recent oposition, light featherfisted punchers with the least amount of risk possible.

I haven't even mentioned yet when he got put on the deck by a guy with twice as many losses as wins, or his amateur career where he got sparked out with headgear on :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

His promoters will know about this problem and will probably try to cash in on him fairly soon or they will run out of bums for him to face. This guy will eat the canvas as soon as he fights anybody with a pulse.

That's why I'm calling Deontay Wilder as my pick for Shattered Glass 2015/2016.

    Thoughts?

If you mean fighting Wlad next year on PPV and getting knocked out then you are correct.

Predicting that a heavyweight boxer will one day get knocked out is not a very bold prediction. It's like predicting that a prostitute will one day get an std.

He can barely stay standing against the likes of Molina
:rofl Sooner or later he's going to get his china shattered, maybe even by one of the tomato cans he steps in with. The sooner he steps in with Povetkin, or another live body the sooner we see this con exposed. :good

We'll see. Wilder still needs three or four more fights and then he'll be ready for Wlad.

You may be right. But I believe he's improving. I really believe he has a bright future. Time will tell.

Yeah, Wilder's chin may prove to be even worse. It took guys like Tony Thompson to expose Price's chin. Wilder's been down against guys like Dustin Nichols and Harold Sconiers. Nichols is one of the more pathetic fighters I've seen in a boxing ring, and he exposed this fraud's fragile mandible.

Based on all the evidence we have at the moment Teper, and Thompson would flatten Wilder as well. At least Price has the guts to step in with these guys.... Can't say the same about Wilder.

He digressed his last fight...came in 12 pounds heavier, was gassing several times...was very very tentative in the early rounds and he let a fighter with less talent get brave...not exactly an improving fighter.
I think if molina hit him with the nice right hand he hit CA with we would be taking a whole different story.
On the bright side he fights a Good bit and his fights are exciting one way or the other...it's that shyte or get of the pot thing now...time to step up champ.

Well, you and both know that Wilder's management has employed a very careful record-padding strategy both to create the impression he is a "KO artist" -- when in fact virtually any halfway decent HW fringe contender could destroy all the stiffs he's faced -- and to protect his super-fragile mandible from being shattered. The near-accidents against Nichols and Sconiers only intensified their search for the worst stiffs they could find.

I'm shocked that the WBC have sold their prestige down the river to have bums like Stiverne and Wilder as their heavyweight champion.

WBC was always corrupt but it had an amount of quality control.

His career is the most bogus manufactured career I have seen in a long time. It's very frustrating as fan. Nothing against the man personally but I hope someone comes along and take the belt. His career is just too sketchy.
