I might have....and I'd have been wrong.:yep But something tells me we're not dealing with Ali-level whiskers here.:-( Heck, I don't even think we're dealing with LEON SPINKS-level whiskers!!!!! :rofl :rofl
How on earth can you compare Fury and Wilder? Fury is 5000 classes above Wilder. I'm baffled how even one person thinks Wilder is anything more then a club fighter. The guy is so limited and clearly has a glass chin. The fact he has been feeding on the most ridiculous stiffs tells the story, ffs he should be labeled a criminal for participating in some of those fights.
Hes not cutting any corners. He's taking things slow so that he is good and ready when his time finally comes. Go look at Wlads first 30 fights in the 90's,Wlad wasnt exactly fighting Lennox type opponents at the time.
he can have 50 fights and will never be good and ready. theres a reason this guy is fighting on telemundo shows and not ppv undercards even though he is a golden boy fighter with almost 30 fights. atsch
Fury's glass jaw would get shattered into a million pieces if he fought Wilder and he's featherfisted so he couldn't do **** to Wilders weak chin. He's open as well as being sloppy and much slower, how anyone can think Fury wins is beyond me. Kelvin Price was a better opponent than a past it Kevin Johnson who didn't give a ****. Look WIlders got a lot of flaws but if you're getting put on ***** street by featherfisted gypsy's with less than 20% KO rate how you gonna stay on your feet when Wilder lands? It's not like Fury is a defensive genius who can avoid his right hand for 12 rounds.
PLEASE tell me that clip was an EXHIBITION fight. There is NO way in the Lord's ass should ANY pro be fighting a guy like that. I didn't even watch the entire clip.
I think it's because he had very little AM experience to be honest. Like many of you guys have said,Wilder hasn't done much but there is time and we really dont know if he will prove himself. You cant really judge him now and say what he will or wont do. The truth is he has faced bad opposition but,he has killed most of them and that is a good sign.
(responding to Zakman) By that standard, Butterbean was an ATG Let me know when Deon fights a B- level HW. Btw, you seem awfully sensitive, even obsessed about Deon, like he's your relative :huh
It's hardly desperate, but yes a lot of it is hating, mostly because his fans seem to think he's a hell of a lot better than he's thus far proven to be whilst having a go at legitimate contenders like Fury. That tends to **** people off, you know? It's also frustration, because he should have moved up long ago. Whether he's top level or not remains to be seen, but his opponents have all been overmatched and he's yet to go further than four rounds despite, apparently, wanting to get experience. It's looking more and more likely that his team are trying to build up a padded KO record in order to raise his marketability and fast track him into a big fight for which he won't be ready. It's hard for me to get excited about something like that. But no real hatred from my end. Personally I would love to see Jonty fight better opponents and make something of a name for himself the right way. Who wouldn't? You can't deny, however, that a lot of the criticism he's got has been totally justified.
Wilder is better than a lot of people are saying. He'll be a force in the heavyweight division over the next decade.
