Deontay Wilder is already in the HOF, what else does he need to do for ATG status?

He needs to learn how to box first.

That's funny. Doesn't seem to say he is on Wikipedia.

He beats Ortiz, Fury and the winner of Ruiz vs Joshua and he has claim to be an ATG.

It's premature to proclaim him already so since there is still controversy surrounding the draw with Fury even though he legitimately knocked him out

Once he finishes what he started and beats the other top contenders then no one can say anything.

Beat actual contenders on the way to the title
Face actual contenders as title defences.
Stop ducking people
Try to unify

Then he'd be hall of fame worthy

Then he'd have to clean out the division completely, beat every guy in the top 10, all the guys moving up and all the top prospects when they've matured, Then he'd be worthy an ATG spot.

So he can't...

If didn't know how to box, Fury wouldn't have been put on his back twice.

The only man to have violently knocked out Fury when 11 year undefeated Wladmir barely landed a glove on him.

Are you talking about Fury?

Was Breazelle not a contender?

Offering Joshua to fight for 50 million and accepting a 15 million flat fee to fight in the uk isn't trying to unify?

Ortiz wasn't the guy everyone was begging him to fight for years and accused of ducking? Do you want me to pull up the bogeyman Ortiz threads to remind you?

What top contenders has Fury fought in the last 5 years to defend his imaginary belt?

How many fighters has Fury ducked out of fighting recently?

I look forward to hearing your answers

To be atg he has to beat fury at least once better twice, beat joshua unify and defend for a couple of defense. So basically still a long road ahead and the guy is not getting any younger.

Bs. You can of course criticize his boxing but saying he cannot box is just utter rubbish. The guy won olympic bronze as the only American in 2008. you dont medal at the olympics without knowing how to box and he didnt go through the tournemant by koing everyone he, won with text book boxing and lost to rousso who is hell of an amateur.

He needs to win against Ruiz (or Joshua) 2 matches on 3 and the next match against Fury..so it would be the best of his generation and consequently an ATG.

No. But Fury's pre title record > Wilder's
No. He was a fringe top 15 guy. He was not an actual contender.
Not when he blatantly refused to fight Klitschko and turned down 120m to fight Joshua in his own country.
Also how many times has the 50m been debunked
Ortiz was always overrated. If he wasn't Cuban he'd be no one's Boogeyman.
And he ducked Joshua as well
Do it. Won't prove **** to me
I know what I was watching and the only things that have him hyped were that he was a southpaw and that he was Cuban.
Whys Fury being mentioned? Do you really have your mind on him all the time?
And that "imaginary" is worth a lot more than Wilder's snide little strap
Less than Wilder....
Did you?

He was number one contender pal. It doesn't get any higher than that

Making up narratives I see. Provide evidence of him refusing to fight Klitschko. Show me when Klitschko called Wilder out and offered a contract.

He turned down changing networks to fight on a 3 fight deal and it is proven he made the right decision. And the reason he did not sign with DAZN is so he could stay working with the two most experienced and powerful boxing promoters in the business in Al Haymon and Finkel

Wilder proved he has loyalty unlike that lying sell out like Fury.

And when has the 50 million been debunked?

Barry Hearn is on record stating

' So pleased AJ didn’t accept 50 million to get robbed by us judges ''

Do you even know what happened when Wilder agreed to Joshua's terms for the 15 million flat fee which was to take place at Wembley?

You're not very good at this game

QUOTE="George Crowcroft, post: 20010679, member: 120441"]Ortiz was always overrated. If he wasn't Cuban he'd be no one's Boogeyman.
And he ducked Joshua as well
Maybe you're a jonny come lately who doesn't know what happened in boxing before 2019, because you would know that Joshau previously did everything in his power to avoid Ortiz when he was mandatory. This was before he approached him to come in as a late replacement.

You're clearly a casual, he was rated among the best at the time, due to his power, boxing ability and the fact he was southpaw. Nothing to do with the fact he was Cubam

Because you don't apply the same ridiculous standards that you have for Wilder for Fury meanwhile you and his other fanboys think he's in the same caliber as the likes Muhammed Ali

Fury is fighting the worst bums in existence and you'll never criticize him. He may as well be fighting random strangers pulled off the street. Instead you turn your focus on creating false narratives to discredit Wilder the one heavyweight who has been trying to unify and fight the best there is.

Fury ducked an immediate rematch so he could fight vagabonds and earth worms that he dug up from underneath the soil

Less than Wilder....

Wrong

Fury ducked

Ustinov
Wladmir rematch
Dillian Whyte after he was ordered to fight him
Wilder rematch
Price

Wilder has ducked no one in fact Joshua ducked him in twice but you wouldn't know the first time that happened because you probably wasn't watching boxxing during that period when Joshua removed himself from the WBC rankings when he was in line to fight Wilder.
He wasn't, Dillian Whyte was. And that's in one government body. He wasn't even in ring's top 10.

Says he ain't ready, after 33 fights. That's a clear duck. He didn't want Deontay getting stretched
By pissing away more money than he would ever otherwise make? Yeah defo the right decision

Do you even understand how ******ed you sound

He really has a holiday home in that noggin of yours dun he?
I've not even brung him up lol
Arum > Haymon
And I ****ing hate Arum
What? By fighting a mandatory then unifying? Then Ortiz popped dirty, so that wasn't gonna happen.
Overrated...
His power is based on stopping Jennings (who Wlad didn't stop coz his reflexes were shot) and an ancient Tony Thompson...
He's slow and flat footed. He's got good fundimentals but he's slow and flat footed.
He's made for Wilder...
So if he was Easton European people would be raving about this guy who stopped someone quicker than Klitschko? Please.
Nah mate I do you just don't see it.
I've constantly said Fury's little bum of the month is bull****.
I'm far from a Fury fan boy. I just support him coz I live down the road from where he grew up. It's like Hatton, I like him and support him but I'm not mega fan.
I've never said that. In fact in the Fury vs Ali thread I specifically said the opposite
Wrong.
Yeah, coz I need to create false narratives to discredit Wilder. He gives me enough reasons himself
Agreed
What? He pulled out coz he didn't have a trainer, that's not a duck that's not being fit to fight
Price was exposed before that fight was possible.
Agreed.
Hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha that's embarrassing
He blatantly ducked Joshua, Whyte and Povetkin. He ducked Kiltschko as well.
By winning a title? GTFOH you goon
Joshua didn't duck Wilder, Wilder shat himself end of
