Eric Butterbean Esch probably has more fights than any hw world champion ever on national television.
He was also beating bums but unlike Wilder they weren't scared to put him in the spotlights.

Butterbean could atleast take a punch.

Maybe Butterbean should have one last fight against Wilder.
He might be 46 but he should show us once again who the king of 4 rounders is.

 

He's technically a lot better than he was starting out. Very fluid athlete with a right hand blessed from Allah. Price was pretty decently ranked. Top 10 or so in the US when Wilder fought him. Price has a win over Tor Hamer who is currently rated #15 in the US. Decent D+ competition. He should take another fight at this level, and then a step to C level guys this year. He's coming along very nicely though.

Yep. Those on here that have been watching Boxing as long as you and I have know how important a Chin is especially in the Heavyweight Division.

agreed with this. I doubt he'll rule the divison but that right hand lands on anyone and it's game over so there's a chance he can grab a title at some point. He needs to work on his D and step up the opposition so he can get the chance to work on it but now that he's a showtime guy and had an impressive KO on air they'll have him on more which means more dudes will be more willing to fight him as his name is bigger and he has showtime money and big stage fights to offer opponents. He used to be too high risk-low reward cause he had no hype, no money to offer and a big risk of hurting you but now that he's been on showtime that all changes. Kelvin Price was a legit step up and he can only go further up from there now or he won't get back on showtime...... by the end of 2013 he'll be fighting a top 20 HW and we'll see where he's really at, if he's succesful he'll be heading his way to a title shot in 2014. Personally I think he'll be a top 10 HW and may grab a title at some point cause he's very fast and very powerful so there's always the chance he'll KO you no matter who you are.
