I hate Wilder with a passion, but it's very apparent that he truly believes he can beat AJ. And why shouldn't he believe that? Joshua has been hurt/dropped by lesser punchers.

No doubt that Wilder is looking to maximise his earnings in a matchup against Joshua but it’s hard to believe that he doesn’t actually believe that he can win. I’ve rarely see a boxer so in love with his own power and abilities despite so many people pointing out to him all his faults and limitations. I believe him when in the past, he says that he really believes he would knock out prime Tyson or Louis so self belief and confidence in his ability to knock out anyone is not something that he lacks.

 

Boxingmaster, what are you gonna do when Wilder beats Fury and AJ like Mayweather beat Pac?

 

Fury will get stopped but I doubt he ever gets in the ring with high level opposition again. His career is over.

 

To stop Wilder you need to nullify his right hand which in theory is far easier that working out most boxers.. In reality no one has been able to do it but Tyson Fury prove he can stick to a game plan for 12 rounds (ortiz couldn't) and nullifies Wilder two big advantages he has height and reach..

If anyone could it would be him, I don't think Fury could KO Wilder.

Of course Fury would have to get back to his best which is a 50/50 thing atm..
