Yes, although it IS POSSIBLE to put on muscle without fat, it's likely that fat will accompany muscle gains. And on a ripped athlete of Wilder's size, he could put on 5 or 6 pounds of fat and the loss of definition would hardly be noticeable, he'd still look pretty ripped. I'm not saying he's not on the juice though. The most incredible thing is that he said in an interview he's bulking up "for the image" and doesn't have any idea how it will effect his boxing. This is crazy. This guy's supposed to be a world boxing champion and he's playing around with building muscle simply to look more jacked. :nut
I suspect that Bambi is a regular steroid user. I hope that an independent drug testing panel will do the procedures in Russia. WADA may try to cover his steroid ass. I do not trust it especially when that kind of money is involved.
I ran starting strength and then Texas method. never really squatting b4, and yeah 10 lbs. natty from squats when you never really trained them is quite possible. This content is protected
That's the thing. People talking about "newbie gains" and you how can't put on much weight quickly past the first year or 18 months or whatever ... but if the trainee wasn't training/eating right in the first year or first five years - or first TEN years ! - then obviously he's still got the potential to have a "huge year" of gains later on down the road, when he starts eating proper and training proper.
