But Ali was loud and obnoxious too in the early days and was hated.
After Ali beat Liston Joe Louis was trying to interview him but Ali just kept screening "I am the greatest".
with the goat heavyweight champ (at the time) standing there trying to interview him. Not to dissimilar to wilders antics.

 

It's gonna be a fun few months listening to these 2 loveable plonkers go at each other. Just hope they keep it at each other but have a feeling AJ will be the go to reference even though he has nothing to do with it come fight time. I just know there will be some truly memorable gags and gaffs from both sides.

 

I respect your opinion and kind of like see how a guy with a near 100% KO ratio is gonna garner some fans, but this AJ/Hearn bashing and beefing up his own profile in such distasteful fashion realy grates me. You're heavyweight world champion ffs. Just once in a while bring a little respect, dignity and honour to the position, and just occasionally SPEAK THE FUKKING TRUTH!!!! I've never heard so much BS pour out of any one individuals mouth in all my life

You can tell by his body language he doesn't even believe half the bull shite he's coming out with. I get a bit bored of the Joshua 'me so humble ' hogwash aswell but, at least he knows when to keep his ****ing mouth shut and stand by his deeds and actions. Fury and Wilder are like an ITV wrestling show tag team, ****ing embarrassing

 

That incident with that internet troll n saying he's wants to kill someone in the ring was also very distasteful. But its goanna be interesting if he wins impressively how people are going to respond to him.
I can see people getting on board with his hype and he also has a story behind him with his disabled daughter and all that, that people will lap up.
Either way its gonna be fun watching it all unfold.

I'm not a hater, I don't hate Deontay, but I kinda find it funny that he is the world heavyweight champion of the world, he holds the most prestigious belt in all of boxing, yet at one point in the video there are kids playing in the background who quite clearly haven't got the feintest clue of who is being interviewed just a few feet away from where they are playing.
