OK, he haven't faced the toughest of tough opposition. But there is some cold facts that just CAN't be overlooked. The guy has won 26 fights by knockout. ALL of them by knockout. He has never lost or drawed. Now, 15 of those 26 fights were round 1 knockouts. That's just insane. The remaining wins are... 5 round 2 KOs. 4 round 3 KOs. 2 round 4 KOs. This man is an absolute beast, complete and utterly destroying by the way of early knockout like none has done in the same fashion ever before!
Was Tyrone Brunson underrated? :think (note: I'm not saying you're wrong about Wilder being underrated, but your justification for it doesn't hold up too well...)
Brunson can't be compared to Wilder. Tyrone got one loss, one draw, while Wilder's record is perfect. And Wilder got 26 knockouts, Brunson got 20.
So you are impressed by Wilders feat? Look up Lamar Clark and that ended as soon as he stepped up in competition
I know he hasnt fought any good competition yet but he is the perfect guy to cause some upsets in the division he has height, reach, speed and power plus his style is awkward he only looks for big shots and doesnt throw a lot I wouldnt rule him out against a top 10 heavy
He's fast, athletic, tall, good power...no doubt he's got some tools and is very much under rated on the board. That said I know nothing of his mental toughness, boxing IQ, stamina, toughness etc. I understand the criticism of his opposition, but I find it amusing to read people being negative about his potential but ride the sack of sloths like Helenus and Fury.
seriously, nobody really rates him ... and that is a clear underrating, .... come on lets rate him top 100, give him a break!
