Exactly. For now, he's fun to watch but can't be taken seriously as a prospect until he gets some notable wins. Boxing isn't just about the way you win; it's also about who you win against.
I like watching him. He'd crush Tyson Fury. I have my doubts about whether he'll be a champ but I think he can at least be a top 10 guy and provide us with a lot of entertainment. He's fast, powerful and exciting..... always room for someone like that. He's got a lot of natural gifts that can't be taught but he's at a point where he needs someone who can teach him better defense and technical boxing. Either way that right hand lands on anyone and they're down and his killer instinct is such that if you get up and are still hurt he will go for the kill and take you out. He's a vicious dude.
Not a chance, Fury is a much more complete boxer than the one trick pony Wilder who hasnt fought anyone.
Indeed I know that some are trying to hype him for nationalistic reasons, but as a boxing fan, you have to be honest in assessing a fighter's quality, wherever the fighter is from. I'm American, but I know, based on what they've actually done, Fury and Price seem significantly better. And based on the EXTREMELY poor quality of Wilder's opposition - and the fact that he's been hurt against some of these stiffs - you cannot take him too seriously. At best, he's another Michael Grant. Frankly, I doubt he's even that.
wilder is the shite wlad was praising the shite out of him. at 1st i thought he was talking out of his arse. then, i saw the price fight and i see this kid has potential to be something big as long as he is brought up right. i speak to him all the time. the kid is bright, humble and always wants to get better. they r developing him into the future of the division. so, far, he looks to be heading in the right direction
Im far from a pac lover. But your avy is stupid. getting old,off the regular juice, traded booms with big dudes alot, his head is not in it like it use too. If u want to have a shitty job like chinchecker keep it legit.
The difference is that "sloths" like Helenius and Fury have actually achieved something in the ring and were willing to get their feet wet to do so. Wilder has yet to even fight an opponent who wasn't a complete no-hoper. It's people who criticise proven fighters because of their perceived lack of athleticism who really need to question themselves.
