If you ask me deontay wilder is the real deal. I mean regardless of what you think about last night the guy still has T/KO'd 30 other guys. Now with that said I think he would probably do the same to like 95% of the rest of the HW division.

He's legit 6 ft 8 and has actual speed. When you combine those two factors you get a guy that will be knocking out a lot of people. Especially when his fundamentals are pretty solid. Now with all that said, I doubt he is ready for either klitscko. People are waiting for him to lose so they can say he was exposed but if he loses it will most likely be to a world class fighter which isn't a bad thing per say (in terms of being exposed.... he's world class but might not be ready for a klit. That will be exciting to see.

    he hasnt been tested yet

hes a big guy with power, we know that, and not much more, the fact that he hasnt even fought anybody close to the level of a Tony Thompson means a hell of a lot

how would he deal with a 6'8 contender like Wach? we don't even know that

as far as him being the future, well for that, he would actually have to fight people who punch back, and that would be a problem

In Eddie Chambers own words, "It's one thing to bring a guy along slow, but when you are brought along THAT slow, when you finally step him up he will be like a deer in the headlights, it will be foreign to him"

ready for a Klitschko? the question is is he ready for someone who can fight back, let alone the heavyweight champ

He was shown up by cruiserweights in the amateurs, won't be long till someone touches his soft light bulb glass of a chin, and people can stop slobbering all over a can crushers dick.

Yes he's big, yes he can punch.

Look at his embarrassing chicken legs, look at him getting sparkled out with headgear on.
When someone puts those small oz gloves on his chin, it'll all come crumbling down on Wilder, trust me you.

Micheal Grant was far better and we all saw what happened to him once he started facing real competition. Wilder has a terrible jab and if he has any hope of being hw champion he needs to fix that or hes going to get dropped by the first right hand that comes over that lazy jab.

Deontay has excellent size, power, speed, and charisma. He has a lot of the tools needed to be a star. Of course, he needs to be tested. His next fight should be a good test for him.

He turned pro in late 2008 and after 5 years and 4 months he has a record of 31-0 (31). He's 6'7" with an 84" reach and ripped at around 225Lbs. He could easily carry another 10-15 Lbs. and still be rock solid. He is athletic and plenty of power.

What else do we know? He hasn't been past the 4th round so we don't know much about his stamina. We really don't know what kind of chin he has yet but so far it has held up fine.

He hasn't really beat anybody decent yet but he has stopped trial horse Damon Reed in the 2nd round. Reed had recently lost every round to James Toney and been stopped by Hasim Rahman (KOby6) and Monte Barrett (KOby2).

He has also stopped a past prime Owen Beck (KO3) who had already been stopped 9 times.

He stopped Kelvin Price (KO3) who was 13-0 (6) and easily beat Danny Williams by decision after his loss to Wilder. Price was stopped by Amir Mansour (KO7) in his last fight. Mansour looks pretty decent but he is almost 42 and he has a habit of going to jail.

Wilder has also stopped Audley Harrison (KO1). Harrison had been stopped 3 times before including once by David Haye (LKOby3).

He stopped Siarhei Likhovic (KO1) who had lost 2 in row (both by stoppage) prior to his fight with Wilder.

He stopped Malik Scott (KO1) who had been stopped in the 6th round less than a year ago by Dereck Chisora.

We will learn a lot about him in his next fight... which I think will be his 32nd KO win.

Grant didn't have the power that Wilder has. We don't know if Wilder has more heart or if his chin is better than Grants (I bet yes on both though), but if he does have more heart and a better chin... he'll do much better than Grant did.

Grant looked like **** vs. Golota before Golota threw the fight away. Grant was pulverized by Lewis in his next fight. Grant should have faked an injury to get out of that fight with Lewis.

While I do not think he has earned the shot he will be fighting for the WBC "heavyweight title" in his next fight. We will certainly have an answer as to whether he is worth a damn in that fight. Either Arreola or Stiverne will prove a good test

No human is capable of testing Wilder, the best a refined.elite boxer can do is challenge Wilder by surviving 6 rounds, get real...LET THE NEXT OPPONENT KNOW THAT HIS ass will pay for all your disrespect

If the next opponent is hurt, its because of unethical fools forcing Wilder to use all his power vs inferior short limbed barrel torso boxers.

Don't act all sad and fake when #32 is hurt so bad...because if your disrespect of Wilder...Its not you going into the ring, so be careful with the words you use :nono
