    • Duhaupas never been stopped all his life, until Wilder Chinned him
    • Post-Wilder Duhaupas still KOes Undefeated #12 IBF Helenius
    • Post-Wilder Molina repeats what Vitali did to #8 WBC Adamek
    • Post-Wilder Malik Scott schools Alex Leapai & TT to go back to Top 10 WBC & WBO

Those are guys Deontay Wilder destroyed, still beating Top 10 Heavyweights

The anti-Wilder hate pogrom didn't prevent Deontay Wilder from becoming the Heavyweight World Champion, but it truly helped the Deontay Wilder victims get labeled as easy-prey by impressionable matchmakers :rofl, which obviously caused the KOs & Ls left & right :smoke

Let the haters keep talking. Deep down inside they know Wilder is going to knock Povetkin out cold.

No question about it, Deontay's resume got a boost today. Exactly how much remains to be seen. But its clear Molina and Duhaupus are not the bums people made them out to be and there is no doubt Wilder is a genuine contender and worthy belt holder.

As a Wilder fan, I'm still nervous about the Povetkin fight though. That guy is a machine no doubt. I still give Wilder a 60-40 chance to win it, but he's gotta be at his best.

All these "cans" Wilder knocked over were supposed to get blown out so Potvekin would feel high and mighty going into the title match. In reality, Potvekin is now quaking in his boots after these school teachers and street sweeper blew away and koed previously highly ranked future and former belt holders.

Let's be honest neither guy isn't anywhere near being a top 20 HW at this point let alone top 10.

After Deontay Wilder is finished with the division (except Fury), he will still be accused by Anti-Mathametical minds of not beating the Top 10 :huh

If you want to whine, say hey the division is so weak, atleast you have a subjective basis.

You can argue that past ATGs from the days of the powerful Heavyweight divisions would have stood up to Wilder

    • 5'10" tall Marciano
    • 188 lbs Dempsey
    • 71" reach Mike Tyson

Deontay Wilder in reality KTFO/defeats of all heavyweights from the previous era. (except SNV that would have been a Decision & Tyson Fury has range/boxing skills to be an even match for Wilder speed/power)

I'm a Wilder fan, but lets be realistic prime Tyson would absolutely obliterate him. If there is one fighter from the past I wouldn't match Deontay up against, it would be Tyson. Tyson's speed to get inside was unreal in his prime. Height and reach didn't bother him at all.

The only way to beat Tyson was to stand up to him, bust him back and push him around, and even then you had to be careful not to get caught. I don't think Wilder has the bulk to do that. You tried to dance away from Tyson in his prime he always caught and destroyed you. That man could smell fear.

That's why Povetkin makes me nervous, he's like Tyson in some ways, except not nearly as fast, which is why Deontay can beat him. But someone with Tyson's speed to get inside would be Wilder's worst nightmare.

You are not a Wilder fan as much as you are a Tyson fan, that's all :think

Not at all. I'm no particular fan of Tyson. Just happen to think he'd be a very bad matchup for Deontay, primarily because he had the speed to get inside that would nullify his height and reach. Fortunately for Deontay, there are no Tysons in the HW division today, and there have been very few in history.

Adamek was a 39yo way past his prime fighter, who lets be fair has had a very long tough career. So I'm not really surprised that Molina beat him.

As for Helanius, although he seems to have lost a step or two since the surgery it is however a good win for Duhapus.

We can debate the details, but its safe to confirm that they all fall into their proper places in the Pyramid below Deontay Wilder :smoke

One beat a guy who has never been the same after a career threatening shoulder injury and the other beat a guy who is a 40 year old LHW.

    Yeah, great wins here.

Deontay will be killed by Povetkin, and I will take a ban bet against anyone who says otherwise.

Who in turn falls into his proper place on the Pyramid below the furious one, Wlad and Povetkin.
