Deontay Wilder leads rebirth of the HW Division

Just drop this shtick dude FFS. We all know you defend Wilder simply because most of your rivals on here are critics of him. None of it has any actual merit behind it, and like anything else you try to tie it in with your warped and obsessive hatred of Klitschko.

Wlad won his belt from a shot to bits Chris Byrd who had already been beaten by a 40 year old shot Golota and damn well nearly lost every round vs Oquendo.
Hilarious you bringing King into the question to knock Wilder. The only reason Byrd retained his belt in those fights is because he was promoted by King.

Stiverne came off two destructive beatings over prime Chris Arroela .. Beating Stiverne to become champ is better than beating a non-heavy , pudding fist , years past his best coming off 3 gift decisions Chirs Burd.

Only difference between these two is Wlad did it longer. And at least Vilders never had to cheat and foul to win like Wlad.

 

But.... Byrd was rated #1 at the time, and according to you rankings count for everything. The division was wide open at the time, Wlad swept in and dominated for the better part of a decade.

I like Wilder, always say so, but his career isnt leading a rebirth of the heavyweight division his career to date is a great example of how to make a mockery of this sport and how the WBC can chop and change what they do depending on who they want to do it to.

 

So let me understand this:

Povetkin postpones the fight in order to take a tune-up vs a moving punch bag..
Then he squanders the fight again by getting popped for peds...
Then he is given a second chance at Wilder but he gets popped for peds a second time in the SAME YEAR.

THREE times he flushed the fight down the drain and you conclude that its Wilder who is making a mockery of the sport ???
Wilder bashers = as useless as GGG fanatics.

 

I'll give Wilder a pass on Povetkin because it's not his fault that Pov chose to fight a stay busy (Wach) instead of going to the negotiating table before failing 2 drug tests. Still it doesn't excuse Wilder's current bum of the career tour.

 

Povetkin??? The 1 time Wilder has had to go do the business against a real live opponent he went, give him credit for that. The Russian blew that fight. But that was a mandatory and at the end of the day it didnt happen. Just look at his resume, its awful and shows little sign of getting any better any time soon.

 

Lol at this guy above trying to favourably compare Wilder's career record with Wlad's.

 

He isn't doing anything that former WBC champs didn't do before him. Vitali fought the same level of opponent.

Maskaev defended against Peter Okello ffs. His resume is reflects the state of the division. This is HW boxing. It is what it is.
