He got offered a deal he most likely won't be offered again, more money than he's likely to make for the rest of his career. And he turned it down. The rest is wishful thinking. End of.

What are you talking about the guy is 33 has just ducked his number one money fight in the eyes of the world and if he is going to be a PPV stat at some point he has to prove it and fight on PPV.

He has already fought over 40 winnable fights another 2 or 3 on showtime against lower level competition is not going to all of a sudden turn him into a star.

You have to remember if they want Joshua on PPV they will need to pay him massive money and the numbers don’t work. AJ is getting $30m guaranteed to fight Miller he will want much more than that for Wilder.

On top of this the big elephant in the room is the only try PPV star in America in Canelo felt the DAZN money was more financially lucrative than PPV and he has no shortage of challengers on PPV what makes Wilder who has only ever had one decent PPV fight a superstar overnight??

If you think Wilder's purse for this fight will be $20 mil then I also have a bridge to sell you.

So you think Showtime are paying Wilder $20 mill for Breazeale for a non PPV fight. Really?

I don't think Espinosa is about to blow a 3rd of his annual budget on 1 fight.

LOL. They didn't exactly break the bank financing the Gervonta Davis and Erisland Lara cards. Those are really the only cards regular Showtime has had. Clarissa Shields is next. Then you're into MAY. And Deontay Wilder.

Wilder will fight on Showtime in May and then fight on PPV in the fall. Their budget is fine.

DAZN and ESPN set the market rate for Wilder. Showtime paid to keep him there. Don't kid yourself.

We all heard what the going rate for this fight was on ESPN and DAZN. They set the market rate. Showtime paid to keep him there. Didn't they? Yes, they did.

As I said the purse will be revealed and you know just as everyone else does it will not be close to $20 mil. Wilder ducked AJ

Wilder declined to fight Breazeale on DAZN. That's all this was about. His options remain open for the Fall.

And his RATE KEEPS GOING UP.

Most famous boxer in the world currently, according to ESPN.

Yes because the DAZN offer came with the added caveat of the Joshua fight.

His rate may keep going up, but he actually has to take the fights that matter to make it, but instead he's fighting Breazeale for a fraction of this rate. I wonder why, lol.

at the moment it looks like both wilder and fury are blatantly ducking joshua. guess neither wants to get easily destroyed for a career high payday.

There are no "fractions" of anything. DAZN and ESPN set the rate. Wilder was ready to go. Showtime paid it to keep him there. You can badmouth Wilder all you want, but the market set his value, and Showtime had pay to keep him.

I know that hurts your brain because you've been badmouthing him for so long.

People have been saying for years he should be a bigger star than he is. Well, now it's happening.

    DEAL WITH IT.

What if there are other factors to why Wilder decided to stay on Showtime? Why are you not considering it? All guys above explained why it is not likely for Wilder to recieve a $20m offer for this fight. Why should he suddenly earn so much many compared to earnings from his other fights?
