Lennox Lewis was never a great personality, still one of my favourite boxers and a supreme heavyweight. If u want pure entertainment Tyson Fury is the most entertaining personality around.

They actually did report this on Sports Center? Did they give it much time? What was the duration of the spot?

I didn't time it, but it was on SportsCenter for the entire next cycle near the top of the show with highlights. And it was on the scroll for 24 hours or more.

It is a shame that Deotay's win was an afterthought here in the US.Shows how bad the heavyweights are now.But give him props for taking on Zelenoff, LOL!

Yeah it was and the sportscasters were very complementary of him even after the highlights were over.

These were very big ratings for showtime, especially for a guy with very little exposure so far. Comparing ratings for a PREMIUM cable network show to shows on free network tv or basic cable simply isn't being fair. There is no comparison.

This. Plus, Wilder made a million dollars for that farce with his puffed up record. Rigondeaux and Gonzalez aren't even on US tv and have never made more than about 750k.

I don't find Fury's personality entertaining at all, I find his personality grates. The fact he doesn't draw very well suggests the majority of fans think this as well.

Haye was the last heavy with real personality which was able to cross over to casual fans which is why he draws big money. The fact his domestic fights with Chisora and Fury were earning him $5-7.5 million shows that people clearly found him entertaining.

See what Wilder does from here. He's been a belt holder for a week and a bit.

Not really...Furry just talks and boasts nonsense. Its all hot air with him. If he was beating all the top guys instead of handpicking opponents then people might buy into all the cheap talk. Till he does people will just laugh and think of him as a rambling idiot.

Where do you get the idea that British people don't like Eastern European fighters? Golovkin is massively popular here, I've got mates that aren't even into boxing that watch golovkins fights.

I always enjoy watching Fury's press conferences and think he is good for boxing.

The guy is hilarious, "I don't want to look David Haye in the eyes because it scares me. It's like he's saying 'Hey I'm David Haye and I'm gonna knock you out.''

I think with better opposition he could be a top earner, assuming he doesn't get stopped.

Stiverne was basically on his death bed and Wilder still couldn't knock him out. And you want Americans to be impressed by that?
