No I haven't missed anything. Wilder isn't the only fighter to crap on about fighting someone.. My point is fights are not made on Twitter by talking sh1t, and that is what Wilder is doing. If anyone thinks what happens on Twitter is anything to do with reality then they are stupider then they think tbh.. Fights are made by promoters and it needs to make sense like it needs to make money.. A fight also needs time to generate anticipation.. Look at May v Pac do you really thing either of those guys were really scared of each other? Or thought they would lose against the other?? These guys think they are the best in the world so why would they be scared or think they would lose... No it took so long and generated so much hype that it became a gold mine for both of them.. Problem with Wilder is that he smashes cans so he isn't taken seriously by most (or is even known). If he wants to fight in these big fights he need to do his apprenticeship to generate some real hype about him. Lets be honest only his most ardent fan boys actually are hyped up about him.... All he had to do was actually fight Povetkin and KO him then everyone would have known he was the real deal but he chose to run when he heard a rumour about a failed test (which wasn't the case) over a substance that had only been banned for a couple of months.. He needs to go get some creditability maybe in the UK so people start taking him seriously.. What does he bring to the table to warrant a big fight??? A ABC belt? No not really as they are a dime a dozen these days... Money? Well no nothing like a unification fight should be, he isn't even a huge draw even in his home state... Compare it to AJ v Wlad... He need to stop flapping his gums on Twitter and sit down with his team and go though the process to make the other champs see fighting him makes sense..
Ruiz Jr, Ortiz, Parker and both Fury's would outbox the human windmill all day. Joshua would knock him out cold in 2 rounds. Also, I think Haye would knock him out too... I don't hate Wilder, I just don't think he is good enough to beat these guys. Yeah, his right hand could end the fight but he lands that on bums not exceptional boxers and his only step up went the distance... So his power may not be enough... Sorry to rain on your parade...
To date his greatest achievement is a draw with Zelenoff - who was subsequently mauled by a 16 year old amateur kid. IMO Wilder needs to call out that kid - legacy fight.
One . Can Beyonce buy a pair of pants that fit? Thought he was going to pop a nugget out at one point.
If Wilder sees his shadow hurt does he start winging in the haymakers and smashing up the hotel room?
Does Wilder get befuddled by his shadow's sweet moves and start chasing it around like a dog chasing its tail?
Deontay cannot use mirrors when he shadow boxes, the photons emitted from the mirror reflecting back on him might shatter his glass chin.
Wilder is the epitome of a manufactured fighter. Padded record. A fraud. He continually declines to test himself, his handlers carefully avoid any danger for him. He is still fighting on free-to-air TV, nobody knows this clown even in his homecountry.
