I actually somewhat agree with Ruffryders.
But yea, I will still hold it against Wilder. He deserves whatever karma throws at him. And if he walks away from this sport with his health intact, then good for him family.

Also, I was certain for years that Mike was innocent of the ****. Until I looked at some of the evidence presented.
Ugh, what a shame, because I admire him as a boxer.

He's a bigger POS than Wilder, that's for sure.

Oh I was the same with Mike, totally denied the **** and was convinced it was a conspiracy against him. This is what personal bias does though.

George Foreman said that he would kill Ali during the Rumble in the Jungle. He did specify that he meant to win decisively and actually kill, but let's say he was suspended after that, he would still be undefeated and when allowed he would no doubt return to fighting. So there would be Old Foreman, suspension or not.

I mean, I have pretty consistently said that I think Wilder is a fraud and a bad guy. I am not defending Tyson or Canelo, who was garbage. Foreman became a better person, and I extend him the same kudos that I just said that I would extend Wilder if he really has changed. Wilder ain't a good guy, and I don't believe there is any way to turn him into one.

I hear you man, but I think thats all besides the point. My point simply was, to hold these statements against him, while simultaneously being fans of guys like Tyson and Foreman, is hypocritical. Thats all Im really saying.

And I agree, and super agree about your earlier comments about PEDs.

I would have assumed he has had similar bad intentions and demeanor in his previous fights, and said similar things.
Yet as the Ali fight is the biggest fight ever in boxing, we can’t forget it and focus on this.
Surely people wouldn’t fear for Ali’s life in the build up, if george had the demeanour of old George.

That’s interesting as I think there is a stark difference between people like Mike/big George and wilder.
Mike and big George had a nasty demeanour in the build up to fights or on their holidays, it was them at all times.
Wilder however has mainly been nasty in the build up to fights, otherwise in interviews he’s always been very mellow and you can sense the “hippy” in him.
Only now the “hippy” has taken over after his ayahuasca sessions.

some things we do know about him is he’s no r4pist, no drug cheat and nobody claims they have been scammed by him or had any dishonesty from him.

I was always a fan of wilder but the accusations from his brother were disappointing to say the least (to me) and not sure what to believe there.

Not to derail the thread, apologies, but... speaking of fighters being bad people outside of the ring, has anyone heard about the reports of Vitali being a Ukrainian kingpin of a bunch of brothels/prostitutes?
    Crazy.

I’m the same with that. Tbh I wasn’t always a fan, till I saw him in a restaurant.
Its true what they say “you only see what your eyes want you to see”.
I think sometimes people hate or dislike someone so much, they use anything to justify saying a negative, which turns them into hypocrites (like we have both acknowledged the double standards with Mike Tyson and wilder).
Wilder exercises freedom of speech, to excercise his freedoms in his sport, in the land of freedom, he shows nasty intentions to his opponent in the build up to fights. People hate him.

Tyson preys on the weak, is a convicted ******, he threatens to eat people’s kids, tells reporters he’s gonna **** them etc. people love him.

Talking of Tyson’s, mr fury has his fair share too. Drug cheat, apparently scammed and bullied a farmer, scammed vlad, tried to scam wilder (arbitration sorted that). Lies consistently. Wants all Jews dead. Says women should stay in the kitchen or on their back. Says unacceptable things like n1gga. People love him.

Yeah. It's mostly an undocumented BS from anti-Ukrainian circles. No proof whatsoever.
