Hearn should have got the same doctor as the one Haymon had in the Ortiz fight, I am sure he would have done wonders for AJ. Dont know if you watched the post fight interviews but if you listened to AJ after he was clipped he was discombobulated and was kind of gone from there. The man handled his defeat with grace and dignity and didn't come up with any excuse, gave the new champ his props and kept it moving. We all know if it was a certain someone he would have been shouting about how during the third round knock down the count was to long.

Wilder fans still crying about the 10 count. Wilder's only skill is his power. Fury shut him out.

Grabbing the mic from the guy interviewing the new champ to "address his fans" wasn't exactly a "graceful and dignified" move.

I'd have paid $100 for Jim Gray to do the post-fight interviews last night. Gray can be a jerk. But he would've gone after Joshua for quitting like many bully's who got punched back have done in the past.

The rematch will expose him even more as Fury will be more cautious and will stop pissing around, Wilder is limited and if Fury stops playing he wont be able to land. The guys is a hot head and a tool the more he misses the angrier he gets and then Fury can just jab his way to an easy victory. To be honest Fury will be doing Wilder a favor before Usyk gets his hands on him.

Maybe nobody in and around his camp has the bottle to call him out on it.

I can’t wait til fury plays with wilder again, let’s hope they do it on Fury’s terms so he doesn’t get robbed again.

No, more like what's with these guys coming over to the US from the UK thinking that they just have to get up by 10 ... and then they can turn their backs on the ref ... and walk around ... and get as much time as they want to recover?

I've been watching boxing since the 1970s.

You get 10 seconds to both get up and show you're ready to go ... just 10 seconds.

Not 10 seconds to get up. 10 seconds to turn your back and go for a stroll ... another 10 seconds because you spit out your mouthpiece ... another 10 seconds because you're leaning in your corner with your arms on the ropes and the ref says are you ready to fight but you just keep standing there with your arms on the ropes.

What's up with Fury and Joshua and the belief from them and their fans that fighters just get to wander around and restart fights at their own leisure?

    It's maddening.

Joshua seemed to call time against Parker. And he seemed to try to do that again last night.

I'm just glad a ref finally called him on it.

Their opponents don't get that long to recover.

What like he did against Wilder and his constant Ducking? More dignified than saying you want to look your opponents children in the eye after your cripple their father and that you are going to kill him and yet that is your champion.

Deonkey can say what he wants, the truth is that he ducked AJ. A loss to Ruiz doesn't change that, HE DUCKED AJ. Ortiz ducked AJ. Kownacki ducked AJ. But Ruiz didn't.

So before we come to the conclusion that AJ is bad, he was ducking all along because Ruiz beat him and he was scared of Wilder..just calm down. Ruiz beating AJ doesn't show that Wilder wasn't ducking. If anything, Ruiz being in the ring shows Wilder WAS ducking.

AJ is not bad physically, or even skills-wise. But mentally...that's where the questions need to be asked. I said yesterday in the official fight thread just before Coyle did his fight that AJ didn't look right at the weigh-in. He wasn't taking Ruiz seriously and he should have stamped his authority on Ruiz at the staredown as he usually does with his opponents. But he didn't do that. It was all laughs and fun, taking advantage saying it'd be an easy night in an interview. He was underestimating Ruiz as I suspected.

There is no doubt now that Fury will play with AJ mentally, and that will be AJ's downfall in an otherwise close contest. AJ still beats Wilder with a quick KO. And he'll dominate Ruiz in the rematch. He'll learn the lesson to never overlook an opponent ever again, regardless of looks, shape, skills and so on and so forth.

AJ got hurt because he was reckless, he threw McCracken's gameplan out of the window because he thought he was way better than Ruiz. When you think you're too good for someone, that's when you pay the price.

Wilder does not have a great personality. He just says rude things and things to shock a little. Although I never saw Mayweather as funny or all and his personality. Well to me it was not that great. Always talking money and his ego and not saying much else. Not much laughing or clever comments. A personality is Tyson Fury when he wants to be funny, although lately Tyson has been wanting to be serious.

He is mostly failing at that let him speak for more than a minute and the party between his ears comes out :D
But you got to love the constrast between is reaction tweet and wilder's. And he is not any less of a warrior for not being angry and rude.

It's always been a 10 count not 10 seconds. Fury was not hurt when he was knocked down. He told the ref I'm ok while he was on the canvas. LoL dude jogged five feet after.
    Wilder fans are insane.
