I think we'll see Kownacki, Bryan, Martin, or Charr. I would much prefer to see Ruiz or Whyte. I'll be wanting those three to match up until they're in the retirement home posting **** on Twitter about who is ducking who at canasta.
Martin or Bryan are probably the most likely candidates, have nice looking records if you don't look who they fought, highly ranked despite not beating anyone any good, neither particularly big punchers and should provide Wilder with a spectacular KO for his return. Helenius and Sanchez are riskier options but still possible options. Helenius is apparently WBA mandatory after beating Kownacki so could earn Wilder a shot later on though Helenius while a big underdog is capable of upsetting the odds with one good punch. Sanchez too much of an unknown quantity even after beating Ajagba will they want to risk it against a potentially tricky undefeated Cuban? Andy Ruiz is a fight that makes too much sense not to make but I don't think they'll want it for Wilder's return fight but maybe for the next fight after his return.
I would like to see him fight Ruiz. Give Ruiz a chance to get revenge for that burrito Mascot that Wilder Killed.

Let's be realistic. Wilder needs to ease into things, build up his confidence, nothing too challenging. This gentleman is a bit...Older. Been completely inactive for 4 years. Has somewhat of a boxing background, can be seen in the ring with Marciano. Small, but bloating in his later years brought him up to HW. Talking about digging up fighters, that sounds about right here... This content is protected
I think he should come back against that bald Lil 'power puncher' thats picking up hype right now. Then take on Charles Martin. Then culminate 2023 with a make or break fight with Ruiz.
It is going to be Trevor Bryan or some bum. He is not going to start facing get division's best now that he is ex-champ. Don't be ridiculous.
Babic asked for someone to put him to sleep...Make it happen. We know damn well Wilder won't fight anyone with the guts to come forward, throw mad dog Babic in with him as a measuring stick for both. I would be incredibly surprised if they put Ruiz in with him. A quick 1, 2 from Ruiz would have bambi flailing around the ring.
