I really hope this does well enough that people can't joke about it 'flopping'.
The bitterness against AJ is already at cringe levels from team Wilder, Fury and Warren.
Fingers crossed for a successful, entertaining fight with the winner either being in a rematch with bigger casual interest or taking a sensible cut against Roboshua.

Something tells me it'll flop a bit and then it'll be nothing but silly buggers at the top end of the marquee division....:argue::facepalm:

75K might be optimistic but if he can pretty much sell out the MEN vs Seferi then I think they could sell out a smaller stadium, maybe 50K.

Bellew vs Usyk was a near sell out so I can't see why a genuine top heavyweight fight in the UK couldn't do big numbers.

I hope the PPV does better than I expect. Fact is Wilder is delusional with his demands and I think the only way it happens is if it does well and Hearn agrees to 50/50 or close to it.

If the fight bombs Wilder will just blame someone else and still ask for 50/50 and genuinely believe he deserves it.

Please no! Ha ha, Wilder gets the KO, no controversy/rematch, AJ offers 50/50 and the mega-fight happens.
Anything else is going to be by far a worse option, esp for the fans.

Wilder might be more realistic to hope for $2.5 million in PPV sales rather than 2.5 million views sold.

Wilder is married to a gold diggser. Has anyone seen Alabama Housewives?

Poor guy is getting taken to the cleaners in a few years.

Didn't realise he'd married her. I'd assume he has a prenup to ensure she doesn't take it all, but the child support payments are going to ruin him alone. He already has 5 kids in total that we know about. Let's hope he doesn't follow another Alabama heavyweight champions example and have almost a dozen kids from multiple women like Evander did.

I'd love to say the fight will do well on PPV as I'm a
fan of "all" boxing and only want boxing to prosper unlike alot
you weirdos that wish failure upon guys.

That being said, I can't see this PPV doing more than 150,000 in
the U.S. This is not a PPV caliber fight, it's a very important fight,
but it's not a fight that the general U.S. public cares about (few
    fights are).

The problem is the fact it's on BT subscription which means that first off you have to pay for a sky package or equivalent, followed by BT sub, followed by BT PPV. that's some serious commitment for a fight that may well not live up to even moderate expectation, with a pretty **** poor undercard and going out at 4am.

The fight should have been held in the uk, that would have been a sure sell and boosted Wilders profile massively aswell as the added cudos of Wilder the road warrior, defending his strap in the back yard of the Lineal Heavyweight champion (whatever the **** that means, I don't consider someone inactive for 2 1/2 years and serving a 2 year drug ban, lineal anything). But, it is what it is, the promotion of the fight has died on its arse already and but for boxing sites, no ones really pushing it.

If it flops badly, Warren could well be screwed and see the end of his contract with BT. For what's at stake, I'm frankly disappointed with the fake beef build up so far......

That's assuming Wilder has a brain, which it's clear he doesn't. Honestly, I'd be amazed if he wasn't flat broke within five years.

He'll be worse off than Holyfield once the money dries up. Holyfield at least had his fame and reputation to keep him going. Wilder has nothing, and lifelong medical bills to pay for his daughter. I honestly feel a bit sorry for what his future holds in store for him, because it's not going to be anything good.

I bought it 6 times because I have 5 other guys coming over for a night of poker and boxing.
I'd be breaking the law if I didn't buy each guy a PPV, right?

I try my hardest not to dislike wilder but when he comes out with rubbish like this it makes it hard to like the guy in my eyes. Others may feel differently about wilder but I just can’t get myself to like the guy with the amount of crap he talks

Looks like it really did less than 500k. According to the reports, it's 325k, which is way less than Wilder's dream of 2,5mil.

    I called it somewhat right.
