While I love ripping on Wilder what he's saying seems pretty accurate from what I've seen. Wilder isn't showing us anything new in the training footage in terms of technique but he's clearly trying something different in terms of his approach. So while Malik hasn't brought any new skills and techniques to Wilder he does seem to be giving Wilder a different strategy with him coming low and working the body with hooks.

We all know Wilder was never very receptive to what Breland wanted to teach him and how he wanted Wilder to fight instead of just relying on power and maybe now after that embarrassingly one sided defeat he's finally realised he wasted all those years with Breland, ignoring what someone wanted to teach him and is finally receptive to an approach other than just looking for a KO.

Honest question. What would you do if you caught someone stealing from you? Let me guess. You would set them down talk to them, tell them a life of crime isn't a life at all, give the some self help flyers, take your stuff back and give $50.00 and wish them well.

Very weak. Charlie is the one that called Wilder out. There is no way Wilder knew Charlie had mental issues. At the time Charlie was considered an internet troll. Nothing more.

Wilder didn't even have his great 1-2. He had an injury to his left arm that required surgery to repair afterward. So the left was useless, and that's what he uses to time his big right.

That fight was a disaster. Wilder had fully regressed to the point of relying on a KO punch, and with his left all but useless, he couldn't even do that. So he was left with just trying to throw a big right all by itself, which Fury could see coming a mile away.

That's why Wilder brought in new guys to get back the skills he once had. And he's much better now.

Fury knows that. Which is why Fury is taking this third fight very seriously. He's not wandering around Casinos wearing his pajamas anymore laughing with patrons. His dad smacked some sense into him.

 

You believe that Wilder just choked the woman without cause? I think if he was that unhinged, he would have more episodes of violence like that. Plus, this was a woman he had a history with. Doesn't make sense that he would just choke her for no reason.

 

Wilder isn't outboxing Fury, though. Not in a million years.
