    Could his opponent be Dillian Whyte?
    Whyte is scheduled to make his American debut in July - the same month as Wilder is supposed to be fighting in.

    Is Wilder/Whyte worthy as a big announcement?

    A unification with Parker or Joshua or another top contender like Povetkin or Ortiz would be big.

    A headlining fight(with a respectable opponent) on one of the major networks(CBS, NBC, etc) could be seen as a big announcement.

    Unless there's some totally unseen scenario like him vs Fury or Wlad or fighting in some typically non-boxing location like the mid-East almost anything else, like a pointless rematch with Stiverne(who shouldn't be in a mandatory position), will not be seen as some sort of big fight announcement.
