Scott claims that Wilder was somehow seriously debilitated going into the rematch and that he knocked out Fury in the first fight (who was apparently not debilitated from 2.5 years of inactivity, morbid obesity, drug addiction and suicidal depression) and doesn't acknowledge losing the second. Wilder says that Fury couldn't take him out even though he was in a terrible state going into the rematch and that positions reversed, Wilder would have done so (despite failing to in the first fight). Scott states that Wilder "has basically been injured his whole career" but is now healthy going into the trilogy fight and implies that Wilder, following Scott's "surgical" gameplan, will kill Fury, who is apparently not training seriously. Wilder says he has thought about disfiguring Fury "so that his mother wouldn't recognise him". It is apparently ordained by God that Wilder will win the third fight, despite God denying him the victory twice in a row and getting Wilder's arse handed to him in the last fight. Wilder talks about his existence as a black man and claims that he is the best heavyweight of all time in the making (with Scott comparing Wilder's victory in arbitration with Ali's struggle against the Vietnam draft). Scott and Wilder insinuate several times that Wilder is fighting against a racist white boxing establishment who were hell bent on bringing him down (who for some reason protected him for years and now recently allowed him to win the arbitration case).

Wilder is still as delusional as ever (a very low-IQ megalomaniac) and Scott is encouraging him in this instead of giving him some hard truths but Wilder seems more subdued than usual (barring the scream of "BOMBZQUAAAAAAD!!!" at the end).

I sometimes wish boxing would go back to the days when most boxers were controlled by managers who wouldn't let them say more than two or three words to a microphone.
