science of boxing doesn't apply when you fight 39 bums and one 50 year old

Fury will teach him the sweet sweeeeeet science.

Fury at this stage is also a bum, the man is washed up, a recovering drug addict and formerly obese person coming back to fight a mediocre hype job like Wilder isnt a good idea, but if this version of Fury beats Wilder then it only says something about Wilder's obvious "bum tour."

    Absolute nonsense! Heres my proof:

That is a 200lb man with a clean shot on a completely defenseless opponent. Some dudes can take punches better than others and some guys have insane punching power but there are limits. A 150lb man is HIGHLY unlikely to knock a guy out cold who out weighs him by 100lbs. Not completely impossible but HIGHLY unlikely.

I happen to like Glauk, but he can often be (I think sometimes intentionally, to a degree) vague enough to obfuscate the merits of his point (or even its constitutional gist) and make it hard to engage in the level of discourse for which he obviously yearns.

This. My old roommate was a boxer that boxed at 130 lbs and was about 5'7" and he put a 6'4" 250+ lbs bouncer that towered over him to sleep.

This a Zaven an Armenian boxer (not professional) and martial arts instructor

At 45 seconds he demonstrates a textbook left hook and then follows it up with a right hook. Zaven is around 160 at most and he had no problem putting these guys to sleep. The third guy stayed on his feet, since Zaven didn't have any space to generate power, but it didn't matter, since he already had the respect of the room.

i made a comment yesterday where i said i was more intelligent than the poster i was communicating with, he felt i was bragging, or insulting, it wasnt specified. i was only being honest in what i believed to be true. i also mentioned that there are posters here who make me feel dumb, well, this post makes me feel dumb.

That's not true at all and most likely he will find that out before he ends his career, possibly against Fury. His style is shite but he is fast and has an incredible punch. But we've seen him out boxed before for rounds before the KO, so if he fights a guy good enough to not get hit with those or who can take them, then that "science" from his opponent will beat him

LOL The hammer theory! Take a 2 pound hammer and drop it from 4 ft, on your bare foot. You may break a toe, get some bad bruising at worst. Then take an 8 pound hammer and do the same. The damage to your foot from the 8 pound hammer will be greater than the 2 pound hammer. Now drop the 8 pound from 2 feet and the 2 pound from 10 feet, you will find that the 2 pound hammer will produce more damage. The reason the heavier hammer does more damage is due to the amount of force the extra weight can generate. Provided that all the physics are the same for both hammers. Change some of the variables and the lighter hammer can produce more damage than the heavier hammer. You compare Marciano and Big George. If RM can throw a punch at a greater velocity and get 90% of his body weight behind it, he will be able to generate more force than GF, if GF only gets 50% of his body weight behind it with a lower velocity. Not difficult to figure out at all.

Yeah the point was to humble the guy and show that his credentials have nothing to do with his assumption of superior knowledge I believe Williams had 30+ patents all with a hillbilly education.. No doubt he knows how to design a prothesis but he doesn't seem to understand boxing very well. He seems to think in absolutes I just spent several hours on a plane sitting next to two aeronautical engineering professors who work in the space program....great guys humble and interesting because of Iintellectual curiosity. What I really like was though they were academics and scientists with the space program they were boxing fans when we discussed this very subject of variables they felt the math would be near impossible and deferred me to game theorist and actuarial science stuff they felt the formula for ewuating power was simple but proving a theory like that would be impossible again because of the variables involved.....human beings are not as simple to develop an algorithm of the factors that determine the result.....oh well like I said if he can prove a solid solution I am the first to say I will invest in it but it is unrealistic to expect a scientist or inventor to understand everything that makes a fighter a concussive puncher like a trainer who has made a career of watching, studying, developing, teaching mechanics of power for 40 yrs would not understand the principle of it is ludicrous.

Trust me to the intelligence and wisdom on this board is amazing....my knowledge of boxing has multiplied here. My point to him is this I a the equivelant of a bunch of fighters and fans sitting in smoky pub drinking some liquor and arguing its fantastic. Just because we love the sport does not make us dumb. Having been around the sport in various capacities from fighter to trainer to ref to judge their are some knowledgeable experienced posters here.

The best way for Wilder to feel a boxing science is a fight with Feel Veryfeel trained by Loma's dad.
