    Deontay Wilder is a 6'7 29 year old Heavyweight with a 33-0 32 KO's record. Born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, US of A. Personally I think Wilder gets bashed far too often by people for no real reason, Is he flawed? Does he have a Glass Jaw? The answers are most likely... Yes. But why hold his bad performances in the amateurs or sparring against him, so he went down when Wlad hit him, most do. Haye wobbled him, well Haye is a very hard puncher and after all its sparring they're not in a real boxing match and he didn't have to be as defensively minded. As far as Nichols goes he was off balance, Sconiers never seen it, so I can't comment, most haven't, it could have been a slip. Was he great in the Amateurs, Hell no, but who am I to speak ill of someone who had a terrible Amateur career, my boy Kovalev didn't have the best Amateur career either. The fact is Boxers can and do get better, and Wilder proved to everybody that he's improved his game quite a bit by shutting out and hurting the "scary boogieman" Bermane Stiverne who everyone thought would win the match by a KTFO KO of Deontay, well he didn't... Deal with it. While I hype English, Asian, Russian and Latin fighters constantly, Tyson is one of the fighters that made me the fan I am today, so I can't help but be proud that the United States finally has another Heavyweight Champion, with Knockout Power. Hopefully Deontay will keep the belt for awhile and defend it successfully and build up the sport a little more here in the States, and maybe get a few more casual fans interested, give Americans something to care about again, and he also seems like a fairly nice guy.     from what I seen hes gotten better. The Stiverene fight showed alot

    He can go 12 rounds

    Defense is actually preety good

    Doesnt have a glass jaw, Stiverene landed some good shots and Wilder laughed it off

    Speed is very apparent. gotta be one of the fastest right onw at HW

    Classic 1-2, thats one of the first things that teach you

    Great jab. thats what you need in boxing, ppl should learn

    Im happy and its great for boxing hes in it! Somebody bright and speaks his mind but hand;les it also in the ring

    As for the future, who knows. If Jennings somehow pulls it off, Wilder sparks him out and becomes undisputewd just like that. If jennings doesnt get it done then a Wald-Wilder fight will be wild. I dont think Wald has fought somebody like him but until proving otherwise you have to lean Wald.

    Anyhow expect big things out of WILDER!!!! #BOMBSQUAD!!!!!

    Wilder is a title holder who is still on his bum circuit, 17 years into his career and 346 fights. It's about time he stepped up, and beating a tubby Haitian tractor driver who fought like he struggled to make weight is not impressive.

    How was Stiverne a Top 5 heavyweight, Who did he beat to become a top 10 heavyweight never mind top 5, an overrated Cristobal Arreola who got out boxed by a past it, blown up light heavyweight in Adamek. FFS Stiverne was getting out boxed by a shot to sh*t Ray Austin.

    I'm old as f*ck compared to most of you; but, I have watched this game long enough to recognize a special fighter when I see one, and Wilder is a special fighter. I haven't seen this much potential in a heavyweight since the Kbros.
