He's inconsistent, flawed and unpolished but he's showed that he can get focused especially with the stiverne fight. I've always found it difficult to call pro boxer a bum unless I was completely confident I could beat them but hey that's off premise here you know he'd likely Knock you out as well. The guy needs to step up quick no doubt but it seems you spend wayyyyyy too much time trying to convicnce yourself he's worthless when we both know that isn't the case.

Good post. Wilder's clearly got talent and has fantastic dimensions for HW. All that we ask is that he fights somebody with a pulse. He was stepping it up vs Stiverne, Szpilka and Duhaupas. Not great, but not bums either. Solid fighters. But now he's gone back to his old ways against Blubbereola and Wawrzyk and deserves a spanking.

 

he's stinking up the whole heavyweight scene. people have every right to despise him.

I stamped in a like because I think more needs to be done from him and his team though lets be clear I don't think the guy has done anything to merit being "despised" and to be completely honest when he does fight its quite entertaining.

Fans have questioned his commitment with his new injury and their is a sense that he won't be the same fighter because his equalizer has been compromised. He may very well be forced to bottle his unbridled aggression and become more tactical for a larger percentage of the fight. I keep pointing towards his Stiverne fight where he showed immense composure, good technique and dare I say it patience. If his chin can hold up along with the other aforementioned he has a chance to top his career off with a HOF run. If not then all the ill wishes he has received from ESB won't be in vain.
