No. His valiant efforts in the last two fights with Fury marked him as the greatest heavyweight today who isn't Fury. Usyk has a way to go to prove himself, and AJ doesn't have either Wilder's punch or heart...especially the latter.

He proved his power against Fury by knocking him down multiple times and actuality sparking him

"Wilder has THE worst resume for a heavyweight champion I've ever seen!"

Rather than going back decades to the relative boxing dark ages, let's just look at some of the less distinguished heavyweight champs of the last 15 years:

Nikolai Valuev, old Oleg Maskaev, old Shannon Briggs, Ruslan Chagaev, Sultan Ibragimov, washed Sam Peter, David Haye, Bermane Stiverne, Charles Martin, Joseph Parker, Andy Ruiz

Do these characters have better "resumes" than Wilder? I don't think so. The only champs of the last 15 years who you can make a very strong argument for over Wilder are the Klitschko's, Fury and Usyk (though if Fury beats Usyk in good fashion, Wilder leapfrogs him). AJ has a better best win but also a much worse loss. By any rational criteria Wilder is one of the strongest champions of the last 15 years and an extremely dangerous one on account of his length, speed, power and toughness.

"he's only fought 2 fighters ranked in the top 10"

Again false. Stiverne 1 was 3rd ranked, Ortiz x2 was 5th and 6th ranked, Fury was 1st ranked in the second and third bouts and something like 7th in the first. Wilder has fought "top 10" ranked opponents on 6 occasions. He lost to Fury twice but scored 4 KD's against him over 3 fights and was never beaten by a 5/1 or 25/1 no-hoper like most prominent heavyweight champions in recent years.

The obsession with "top 10" is also misleading for many reasons. A green Charles Martin and Breazeale were both ranked "9th" when AJ beat them, yet the superior Andy Ruiz who smashed AJ and the vastly superior Usyk who schooled AJ were both lower ranked. It suggests that all wins (no matter how close/controversial) within an arbitrary "top 10" are equal and all wins outside it (no matter how dominant) are valueless, which is completely irrational in determining who the best is.

"Wilder is the biggest fraud in heavyweight boxing history."

This is a laughable statement. To think of two examples off the top of my head, Audley Harrison and David Price received far more initial fanfare than Wilder only to bomb against washed up gatekeepers and never recover. Both were several orders of magnitude more fraudulent than Wilder.

    Ummm no.
Sparking him would have meant him not beating the count...and as I said already Fury had been dropped and hurt more by a cruiser.
Nearly doing something doesn't mean anything. It's like being nearly pregnant...you either are or not.
So no Wilder didn't spark Fury out.he dropped him pretty hard but then got up and started to beat the crap out of Wilder for the rest of the round. watch it again then come back to me.

His third fight into the heavyweight division, Usyk beat a two-time unified heavyweight champion. 45 fights in, Wilder entire resume put together does not equal that win.

Of course, Wilder is not a technically savvy fighter, but I must admit I have always admired his courage and physical fitness...

His resume is poor but I think he can beat Whyte and Ruiz level guys. I'm hoping he has another fight or 2 as I enjoy watching him. He obviously isnt anywhere near the worst champ ffs Stiverne and Martin were champions

Speaking of Milli Vanilli, their scandal seems quaint now.

Keep in mind, this was before singers lip-syncing during performances was the open secret it is now.

It was more than that. The singing on the records wasn't actually them. This isn't the same thing as singers lip-syncing over their own pre-recorded singing. This is me lip-syncing to a recording of you singing and telling everyone it was me singing.

Uh what? Usyk's already proven himself more in his third fight at HW than Wilder ever has or ever will in his career.

Fury and Wilder turned Pro the same year.

Fury and Wilder both won world titles the same year.

    Since this year;
Wilder has had 15? World title fights against over 10 different opponents, and 10(?) title defences
Fury has had 4 world title fights against 2 different opponents, and 1 title defence

Why do people get bogged down by his managements interest in having a busy fighter and having more fights than Fury in the same time span?
As a boxing fan I like to see more fights.

It’s not his fault, GOD picked his opponents so Wilder won’t take any blame.
