ok so if he took a longer break he would have fought sumone near his ranking? hes fightin cans no matter what.
Spectacular jab? **** off Cable,he looked sloppy as anything in there popping out the single jab with nothing behind it whatsoever and occasionaly following up with massive wild swings his opponent (if any good ofcourse) would see a mile off.
He hardly killed him he got back up all 3 times and looked fine, i don't beleive he was showboating against the likes of Matt Greer, makes me wonder if Wilder's punches will have the same effect on an actual top 50 heavyweight. Don't beleive people were saying Wilder has a better jab than Wlad earlier in this thread.
These Wilder fanboys are an aggressive bunch..Cable is obviously a troll but Sugar?Calm down sweetheart.
I remember when I threw that out there as an idea as to why Wilder is maybe taking these easy fights and not stepping up,the fanboys went rabid.People have given their reasons as to why they don't think he's much cop and all you do is ****ing whinge like a PMS'ng woman. And he does have pathetically skinny legs there is no denying that.
He fought in September and got a solid 6 week camp in before taking on Price. Price has a win over Tor Hamer. Look at the guys he's fighting. They are stepping stones, trial horses to measure how he does against them. Kertson Manswell got bombed out by Wilder in the 1st round, but he also fought with Chagaev, Perez, Stiverne, and Boswell, going the distance with all except Stiverne Owen Beck got stopped by Wilder in 3 rounds and is a former world title challeger(w/e that means). He's a trial horse for everyone. Szpilka,Charr, Tony Thompson, Boswell. Look at the bums he's been fighting like Greer and McCreary...They are stay busy fights coming soon after a solid stepping stone fight. Even a guy like Greer has fought Toney, Boytsov, and Kevin Johnson. Just a stay busy fight against an opponent.
And when Wilder's next fight is against some 2-7 45-year-old welterweight his fans will come out and say "oh, this is just a stay busy fight"
I did not even bother to watch the fight and propably wont. I have said this earlier Wilder is NEVER going to amount anything in boxing if he does not start to fight a fukin live bodies. What is he exactly learning with these cans? He might have the raw talent to be something special but he is not doing any progress with these miserable opponents. I havent see anything improvements in on his skills lately, in fact he has looked worse than earlier.
The blown up guys are stay busy fights. He isn't taking 3 months off between to fight them. They come right after a solid build up fight. The blown up MW McCreary came a month after the Manswell fight which is a good fight for Wilder's development.
