It doesn't matter if you believe the hype or not, but he is an exciting fighter in a much lacking division. I for one want to keep watching his fights and I hope he makes it to the top.
Chavez jr had 33 fights before stepping up and came from a boxing family. That formula seems to have worked pretty well for him. Why is it good for some fighters but not others?
Oh you mean you have nothing left to say? Trying to bail out by pretending to take the high road? LOL! Not very original.
No, I'm pretty sure he didn't. Stop getting your panties in a twist just because someone slates Wilder.
Time for Wilder to fight someone. I respect the Price win, but now it is time to fight a legit top 50 guy.
wilder doesn't not seem to have the mental makeup to be a top fighter. perhaps I'm wrong. In any event he needs to move up and fight someone in the top 100
Lighten up. Showboating is fun and it gets people entertained. Not everyone can be a boring Klitschko. Prince Naseem,Roy Jones,Ali all showboated!
Much of the hate isn't blind though, is it? It's based on the poor excuses given for Wilder's consistently shitty opponents. If he needs to gain more experience because 'he had a short amateur career', stop feeding him short, fat bums he can KO in a couple of rounds. He's learning nothing from fighting them, other than a leaky defence and dependence on his right hand. Thirty seconds into that fight Greer backed Wilder up with a left feint/overhand right, similar to JMM uses a lot (only obviously the ****, 245lb version of it). A better boxer, someone taller and not a fat *******, with more speed and ranked higher than #270 in the world, would've flattened Wilder with it. Even with all the physical advantages, at 4:20 Wilder still aims a punch at the back of Greer's head! He just looks ragged, and to showboat with that 'bolo' attempt, against a guy like Greer...that's just plain embarrassing.
Chavez JR first real fight was his pro debut. He has NOOOOO amateur career. Wilder while short had an amateur career and won a Silver medal at the Olympics.
Wilder backed up so that fat **** wouldn't crash into him. It's called keeping distance. And yes it's blind hate, like the threads criticizing Wilder for "skinny legs." But anyway they offered Wilder a last minute time slot and some money and he took it. The guy has a sick child to take care of you dick.
