If Wilder had grown up with the tutelage of Steward, how would he have turned out?

Stewart is not a sleazy sycophant, hence Wilder wouldn't be able to work with him.

I'm sure Steward could of made him a better fighter had he been his trainer at an early stage but I suspect just like McClellan, Wilder would of probably left Steward. We know from Breland that Wilder hated working on his weaknesses and just liked to focus on what he was good at. Steward wouldn't just blow smoke up his ass and Wilder would part ways then regress.

It's a bit of a huge question. Stewart would never have been able to change Wilders dna so he would physically have been built the same as he is now.

Wilder has a bit of an attitude and so did Stewart, perhaps the headbutting with Stewart might have driven Wilder away from the sport.

Wilder seizing a championship belt and holding onto it for so long was something special and all thanks to Al Haymon, would Stewart have been ok with taking that route?

In all honesty I do not think that Stewart was anything special at growing fighters from scratch, he did excellent work with working fully developed fighters but yeah I am finding it hard to believe that he would have had a positive impact on Wilders career.

Wilder himself is a narcissistic fool, he has a second trainer and still lacks the boxing fundamentals, unwilling to improve what's he's not good at, so I don't see him working with Steward for long if the latter even accepts to train him.

He has 46 professional fights and beyond two losses and a draw to fury all were victorious- with one of the highest KO rate even seen in boxing .

He was wbc champion for a long time and defended his title 10 times so i,m not sure what you mean with "he still lacks boxing fundamentals" ...

always love the assumption that any fighter with crap fundamentals would become a beast under Manny Steward the miracle worker

Still shite. Deontay has no natural skill. He has one attribute - power. He is the least skillfull of the top 5-10.

I never said wilder is the most skilled but cmon, course the guy has skills. Whether there was talent in the USA or not, he fought international bouts in the Olympics and for his country. His opponents had skills that he had to overcome.
Also as a pro he's got skills, u don't think that's just natural power he possess do u?
    That's technique.

Steward was great at teaching big guys like Lewis and Wlad how to beat shorter fighters with jab and grab, that's not something Wilder struggles with.

So I doubt he would have been of much use to Wilder.
