    Agreed!!
He never held the WBC belt, he showed against Joshua he still belongs and a fight against Wilder would be massive. A Great way to end his career.
After Stiverne the way will be free.
Let's not forget Fury still contractually owes Wlad a rematch, considering he ducked and retired to avoid it, maybe it explains why he is dragging his feet to come back.

Wilder and Fury are NOTHING alike - Wilder doesn't have the herky jerky style that caused and already gun shy, near 40 year old Klitschko problems. Sanders frustrated Wlad because he was an aggressive and POWERFUL southpaw with fast hands, not his movement. Wilder doesn't have any of these things - he has raw power which would give him a punchers chance but no much more than that. He's looked mediocre and flawed against 2nd and 3rd rate opponents, guys a late career Klitschko would look way more impressive against. Wlad starches this joke inside 6 rounds at any point in his career.

Some of these guys aren't even Wilder fanboys, they just have it in for the Klitschkos.

My thoughts are anyone who picked wilder to win is in need of SERIOUS film/video/ study lessons. you can literally pick any year or time period of Wlad to win this. :boxing1

C'mon, Wlad vs Wilder for 110k fans at AT&T stadium in Dallas. That would be some event.
The 62k Veltins Arena in Germany or the new MGM in Vegas would sell out for this as well

Well seeming as Wilder wouldn't of fought Wlad in a million years I'd of said Wlad,AJ took Wlads bombs but Wilder has never taken any bombs off anyone of note so even after 38 fights Wilder is still an unknown.
Can't think of any other champ in any oth r div that's never fought any top ten over so many years as a pro

earliest Date Wilder can fight again might be March or April next year Wladimir might be 42 years old then and 12 month out of the ring. Wladmir should either stay retired or fight a farewell fight va a journeyman

At Vladimir's best he wipes Wilder out in 3 to 4! Wilder is a scrub. Look at the level he consistently boxes at, he goes life & death with B- & C levellers... It's just his power pulls him through! WK barely a loses a round (apart from in old age) yes he has a shaky chin but but he altered his style to negate that & barring a lucky KO he's far superior in every way. Even Joshua struggled badly & nearly got KTFO by an ancient version...

Neither had Tyson Fury when he beat Wladimir. And that was a couple years and one less major beating ago.

Look how good Wladimir made Jennings look before the Fury match. I like and value Jennings but you'd think even an old faded Wladimir would have done much better. I legitimately feel that was a tight 7-5 fight with Wladimir taking over late to seal it. Full disclosure, I thought Fury barely edged Wladimir in perhaps the most boring HW title fight ever as opposed to most who had it very comfortable to Fury.

I hate Wilder as much as the next guy and Wladimir is one of my favorites ever but boxing history tells us that if Wladimir came out and trained for a fight with Wilder in March of 2018, well, I'd be nervous as a son of a ***** for my boy and I straight up do not want it to happen. Oddly enough, too, is that Wilder does receive great acclaim from fellow HW's who have sparred him. I think that point gets a tad undersold. Usually those fighters eventually disappoint their haters. I don't think it will happen with Wilder to any large degree but I suspect Wilder will pick up a couple wins that some on here will not be happy about before it is said and done. As for being done, Wladimir is just that.
