You're complaining about a prospect with no title fighting non rankers.

Wlad with all the belts does the same so why not treat him the same?

Why not focus on the actual topic of the thread?

It is nothing to do with Wlad.

You comment upon delusions and nothing more.

Actually, beyond Waldo, you have rational opinions. But Christ Almighty do you have issues with that All Time Great.

Name one fighter who Wilder has fought that's comparable to a Sam Peter, Ruslan Chagaev, Tony Thompson, Chris Byrd or Lamon Brewster.

Or Calvin Brock or Ibragimov or Jameel McCline or Eddie Chambers… or even old as Ray Mercer and Fran Botha.

Im talking about his run over the last 4 years which has been an absolute joke.

If a football player has a good season for Arsenal would Wegner allow him to perform like he could against club players? Or is he expected to be at his best because premiership football is played at high level year in year out.

Not sure why you mentioned Brewster because Brewster flattened him.

If Wlad is great then there is nothing separating greats and non greats anymore.

A cheater with a foul code of conduct and sportsmanship will never be regarded as an ATG.

Unlike those clean heavies such as Marciano, Ali, Holyfield, Tyson, Bowe and Lewis, right?

He doesn't fight out dirty . He cheats and there's a deference.

Wlad hasn't the creativity to even fight dirty, his cheating is on a much more lower , cowardly level.

Who aside from his brother has he ducked?

Not sure what you're getting at with this analogy. The man fought the best available opponents of his time, and hasn't lost in 10 years.

    There was a rematch. :good

One Suzie-Q and Wilder would be damaged beyond repair.

A further point should be made.

One of the more salient criticisms levelled against Marciano, is the lack of larger heavyweights on his resume, and uncertainties resulting from this.

Of course he did beat some big heavyweights such as Shkor and Wilson, but his critics respond that they were not truly world class, with some justification in my opinion.

If you are going to accept Wilder as a legitimate threat to Marciano based on his size, despite his lack of credentials and those of his opponents, then you effectively legitimise the super heavyweights that Marciano actualy flattened, and loose this key argument.

Bull****. Marciano's elbows, Ali's pulling down from the neck and holding onto the ropes, Lewis' holding and hitting, Holmes' sharpened elbows… they are the same as what Wlad does. And they got away with it… and he get's away with it.

An excellent point and uncovering of a gross contradiction.

Thats fighting and part of boxing. Jumping onto a guys back with all his weight and bear hugging is neither. Its despicable behavior. And those guys were not known solely for it. It makes up Wlads whole game. Not a bit here and there. Cowardly fouls make up his complete skill set.

Valuev could of went unbeaten if he fouled like Wlad but he seemed to have honor and self pride.
