Tyson was far beter in the latter rounds v Ribalta than v Ruddock or Douglas where he wasn`t throwing much at all, Tyson stated he didn`t really bother training for the second Ruddock fight and was bored with boxing at the point, the fight that proved Tyson was a goood distance fighter was the Tucker fight, Foreman v Lyle was a far more greuling fight than the second Ruddock fight.
Wilder couldn`t have fought at the pace Foreman fought at for 8 rounds in the heat of Zaire, Ali admitted he had to use the rope a dope because the heat killed him after the first round, Wilder has never fought at the pace Foreman fought at in Zaire, Wilder doesn`t really throw that many punches, Foreman wwas a far more aggressive fighter than DW.
Indeed, neither of them were 4 round fighters. Being at your most destructive in the early rounds-as those 2 were, doesn't mean they folded automatically...all weakened and vulnerable beyond that. It was, credit to them and something their opponents were aware of that they had to survive those early rounds. Nonetheless--neither guy...prime time....was defeated beyond that by a less than a top drawer or great fighter.
Prime Foreman was good, although he was no Dustin "the worm" Nichols, however I would still favour him to beat Wilder fairly comfortably.
