Wilder is to tall and fleet footed for Louis open guard defense parying style..it would be lights out once Wilder connects solid. Maybe Wilder before 2015. Now? I don't see it.
I like Wilder and think he's currently the best heavyweight, but he's never faced anything like Joe Louis before. I could see Wilder knocking Louis down once or twice, but unlike all the current heavyweights that Wilder fights Louis won't gas out. Also, just like Ortiz was able to neutralize Wilder's jab and take all of the early rounds Louis will do it even better and Louis unlike Ortiz has a crushing right hand to punish Wilder with. Louis had no problem fighting guys just as tall as Wilder, who even had longer reaches than him.
Well considering all the facts, mainly the ones that Wilder is a fraud bum who stuggled against gate keepers and old men who should of been told he was too unwell to fight and is clearly running from any real challenge presented to him.
